Look guys, I really didn’t want to retort to this, but I need help. I’m struggling a lot to find a steady job and I’m unsure how I’ll fare the next couple of months to pay the bills or even to pay food. I’ve done my best to reactive the Colordrilos’ store at facebook but it’s not doing so well.

NEVER GIVE UP. Guys, I was feeling a bit down today. Why? Because I hated and still hate to this day how much I messed up in college. It’s a long story, but basically, I let a lot of things get to me, and now Im suffering for the debt AND the time lost, along with picking up and learning how to deal with some mental issues in myself. That aside, what brought me back to life and taught me to keep going? YOU GUYS. THE LEAGUE OF LEGENDS RP AND ARTIST COMMUNITY. My first summoner showcase highlight: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F8r3aAirjYU Had me in tears. I thought people would never really like my art. That I was a failure. This was right out of college. Yet somehow, the RP and Art community convinced me to post my sketches and it BLEW UP. That old thread I had on the old forums was straight out broken. And then this happened. I cried for hours. I never expected people to like what I did, and yet here people were, liking my yordle and my doodles and my interactions with them on tumblr and twitter. Flash forward.. My second highlight: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=voeXELu0_ig They actually finally came to give love to the ask blogs and featured Rin. Actually ACKNOWLEDGING RIN. Not just my art, they say “Heimerdinger’s assistant and fan artist”… like, WHAT? Not only was it my art, they liked RIN. My heart and soul out to this little yordle and you guys like her. I cried again. I would not be HERE IF IT WEREN’T FOR YOU GUYS. College did help me, but my mentality and those who surrounded me and were close to me.. did not fully help me in my career choices. I should have listened to others, and in the end, I feel I really let my time slip. I messed up. Bad. BUT YOU GUYS SHOWED ME I WASN’T TO BE GIVEN UP ON. And now we have today. First I the first ever fan artist feature on the forums.. then I was invited to all chat. Then my art was seen AGAIN on all chat recently. LOOK AT WHAT YOU GUYS MADE OUT OF ME. You turned me into an artist. You made me work harder than ever before to fix my life and teach myself illustration. YOU KEPT ME GOING. NEVER. EVER. GIVE. UP. KEEP GOING. DON’T STOP. No matter how tired. It’s okay to take a break. It’s okay to lay down and think about where to go. But just keep walking. Just keep going. Whatever pace. Running, walking, crawling.. JUST. KEEP. GOING. I love you guys so much. Thank you for giving me a chance. Thank you for giving me hope, courage, and for understanding when I’m tired. For understanding why I’m busy. For letting me figure out my life. LOOK AT HOW FAR I CAME WITHOUT SCHOOL. AT THE LOWEST OF MY LOWS. AT THE WORST OF MY DAYS. In just 5 years time, I went from crappy weird pixel doodles to what I can do now. THANK. YOU. YOU CAN DO IT TOO. I KNOW YOU CAN DO IT.

rin, you are such a huge sweetie! look at you. this is exactly why you are one of my favourite artists. its not just your absolutely amazing talent, its your compassion and your friendliness. its beautiful people like you that make this world that little bit brighter. i remember the first time i was featured in the summoner showcase (#80) i was so floored with the response i got. i cried for days. and then my now ex-boyfriend found Nika at PAX and she remembered exactly my pictures she had featured and made me a sweet little 30 second video telling me to never give up. its such an amazing feeling knowing there are people out there that appreciate your art.
