This is a long shot but man I really need help. I'm unemployed currently and despite applying to a ton of jobs and having interviews in the double digits, I'm just not having any luck.

Basically all of my friends are scientists and museum people, mostly autistic to begin with, and I really cannot overstate how much the trump fascism plague and funding apocalypse has sent everyone completely over the edge. The despair is so deep, no one knows what to say to one another anymore. We're all still going to work and trying to operate because we don't know anything else to do, but there is no money and normal work functions are becoming impossible. I buy a lot of candy and cookies for people these days just to see a smile. Soulless monsters caused this.
