Flowers in the spring aren't just pretty they're a reminder. Growth takes time. Change can be gentle. And even after the coldest seasons, something beautiful can bloom again.

Embracing the Flow of My Feminine Energy!
Why didn't anyone tell me how deeply beautiful, safe, nurturing, loving, and truly special my feminine energy is? There is such a quiet power in embracing it fully, flowing with it in its purest form. If I could compare this divine essence to anything, it would be a warm, sweet glass of holy basil tea-calming, healing, and infused with the wisdom of generations before me.
As a melanated woman, I am learning more each day how divine it is to embrace my feminine energy. There is such power in flowing with what is innately mine, in nurturing my essence and allowing myself to evolve into the fullest version of who I am. The beauty of this journey is in the self-love I've learned to pour into myself-because when you honor yourself, everything around you shifts.
Our womanhood is sacred. It's a force that transcends time and generations. Our ability to create, nurture, and heal isn't just a gift; it's a divine power that we hold within. There is nothing more beautiful than loving yourself unapologetically, standing in your truth, and creating your own narrative. When we do this, we don't just show up for ourselves—we uplift every woman around us, and we inspire the world to witness the magic of what it means to be a woman in all our glory.
This glow, this external radiance, is a reflection of the love, peace, and strength we cultivate from within. It's the manifestation of years of self-discovery, resilience, and claiming our worth. And every step forward is an act of honoring our lineage, our culture, and ourselves.
Today, I celebrate the power of being me-unapologetically, divinely, and beautifully.✨ Let's continue to walk in our power, create our own paths, and radiate love from the inside out.The world needs our light.
Herbalism holds a deep, sacred place in the hearts of many Black folks, rooted in centuries of ancestral wisdom, resilience, and healing. It's more than just a practice-it's a way of reconnecting with the land and honoring the traditions that have carried us through hardships. From the knowledge passed down through generations, to the plants that have been our medicine, herbalism serves as a reminder of the strength and resourcefulness of our ancestors.
For Black communities, reclaiming herbalism is a powerful act of self-healing, empowerment, and cultural restoration. It's about rediscovering the sacred relationship with the earth, learning how to nourish and protect our bodies, minds, and spirits. Whether it's using herbs for physical ailments, emotional balance, or spiritual growth, the practice of herbalism is a testament to the wisdom that has been preserved despite centuries of colonial oppression.
Herbalism connects us to a broader narrative, one that transcends trauma and offers a way to heal not only the body but also the collective soul of a people. It reminds us that healing is a personal and communal journey-one that can be found in the garden, in the roots, in the leaves, and in the shared knowledge of our ancestors. It's a spiritual practice that reconnects us with our roots-literally and figuratively.
Bloom sis, it's your time!
Stay flexible—it's the key to truly showing up for others.
Do I already have blends created? Yes. But as an herbalist who regularly consults with clients, I know that many of the people who come to me are already on medication. That means I often need to customize their herbal preparations to ensure safety and effectiveness. Could you images really needing help but everything is already in a blend and you have to turn someone away to avoid risk because on 1 simple ingredient? I never wanted to be that person so l keep common herbs stores and tinctures individually prepared.
I don't get to create as much as I use to because l've been called into other spaces. The most rewarding part of this journey is being able to serve my family and friends. As I prepare to return to Atlanta for a few days, I'm bringing natural remedies to support them with their imbalances. I often reflect on how, years ago, we didn't fully understand the depth of healing that comes from the earth.
It's truly a blessing to be in a position to bless others-especially those who need help the most. Sometimes I can't believe the person God has shaped me into, but I remain deeply grateful for the calling He has placed on my life.
Just harvested lemongrass, holy basil, oregano, thyme, peppermint, and stevia!
And when I stumble, may there always be a safe place to catch me—a refuge to land, gentle and steady.
My Transparency: This season, my reflections are nourishing my spirit and offering love to the delicate, uncharted spaces within me-places I never knew existed but are now deserving of care and compassion.
