An elite echo skin I made for a contest. The animation would probably not be realistic but I wanted to have fun lol. The Shinsengumi were a very old police force during the bakamatsu period. They were said to be some of the last samurai and they’ve made a big mark in Japanese history. A big enough mark for inspiration in much later popular culture such as their own drama series to appearing in manga such as Rurouni Kenshin, Gintama, and etc. While it may not be realistic for the Rainbow Six game, I still wanted to take this path and create something that showcases a small part of Japanese military history.

In his elite outfit, he wears the trademark Haori with the mountain symbols. I decided with more of a navy blue because despite the inaccuracy. he does need to not be a walking target. I mostly kept to the traditional wear of the Shinsengumi but added some slight “fantasy” esq features. The two logos adorn on his Haori is the Kondo family crest as dedication to one of the Shinsemgumi’s leader. I could not find an Enatsu crest sadly otherwise I would have done that. The sword in his extra bundle kit is also a slight replica of Kondo Isao’s sword. The gun skins are the tradtional colors of the Shinsengumi while the drone skin is their flag. I hope you enjoy! This is an incredible design and I really love it!!! Shinsengumi is a really interesting idea for the elite skin.
