All I can say is this needs to be seen.
The Egyptian national football team (مُنتخب مَــصـر, Montakhab Masr), aka The Pharaohs, represents Egypt in men’s international football. The team’s historical stadium is Cairo International but since 2012, they have played most home games at the Borg El Arab stadium in Alexandria. The current coach is Argentine national Héctor Cúper.
Egypt is the most successful national team in Africa, having won the Africa Cup of Nations a record 7 times: the inaugural edition in 1957 and on home soil in 1959, as well as the 1986 edition, Burkina Faso in 1998, 2006, Ghana in 2008, and Angola in 2010. Egypt has also been as high as 9th in the FIFA World Rankings, making the team 1 of only 3 African teams to enter the world’s top 10. Despite their respectable continental record, Egypt has so far made only 2 appearances in the World Cup (1934 + 1990), failing to win a game on both occasions. The Egypt national team was the first African and Middle Eastern team to qualify for the World Cup.
Egypt qualified for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations and eventually finished runners-up after losing to Cameroon in the final. The tournament helped Egypt rise from 60 to 19 in the FIFA World Rankings. In 2017, Egypt qualified for the 2018 World Cup, their first appearance for 28 years and only the 3rd, overall. The first Egyptian national football team was constituted in 1920 to compete in the Summer Olympics in Belgium. The opening match of their campaign was a loss against the Italians.
They will be playing Uruguay in this year‘s World Cup in Russia on June 15, 2018.
