Good for people that hate tutorials and want to get thrown into the game. It also is the second game that let my xbox controller show playstation buttons which is super important to me especially for games with a lot of QTEs. I really wish with the aesthetic that it was more disco or rnb but it still has a lot to enjoy sensory wise. The music at the end was more for me.
It is hard to find any info on this game at least on my fave search engine I do not trust use any others at this point unless looking for photos. So eventually I would like to do my own guide and wiki but I couldn't get any screenshots. Maybe one day this site will have moderated user uploaded guides. Only does not have five stars cause no gay. I wanted to see if the stratergery cards had any jokes when I noticed it shows the bosses gender on their stratergy cards but you cannot scroll through them and the minimap bot does not know. And the mod is pristine technology. My bad grammar and calling the characters the wrong names and it still knew what I was talking about. It even understood my question.
My sort of a guide is not actually for being good at the game or trophies just getting through it. There are trophy guides out there for 100 percenting . This ain't it. I clicked the rank c option every time the check points are terrible I am not doing that all over again. The only thing is if you are not using the damage free sticker maybe especially if you are it makes the game harder due to lack of fans. When I mention the word mod I did not install anything to play this that is just what they call it in the game.
One player other guy does nothing but follow you and is annoying you have to lose fans to share hp.
Can set not to randomize guitar. You only really see it in the pause menu and loading screens but I like a specific one.
If you see a sort of lightbulb on top of a stand near a object go by it hold triangle/y by it. Usually it is for buffs/ collectibles but sometimes it is required. It also does not tell you but it is also what you have to do after collecting a record to get to the next map.
Why can I move camera only when im not doing a boss battle eat my whole ass. Especially when I gotta go the opposite direction. Be glad theres no damn fall damage/instadeath or I would be gone on the platforming parts.
The first like 3 battles are pretty straight foward I did not have any notes or issues . The DK West battles ARE THE WORST. There is no way to just respawn where you were before and no matter how far you get you have to start all over but the worst ones are optional at least . I wonder if it actually does anything to the ending I ended up finishing it after I beat the game. On the last one I used the damage free sticker. The other ones are way too hard without a partner you have to control both sides. Also only really worth it if you are like me and care about charcater development. !!!!IMPORTANT!!! The game does not tell you and if you play rythm games you will automatically want to hit the obstacles. You are supposed to avoid them. I did it like 30 times hitting every single obstacle and I thought the game was broken. In my defense. They did me dirty with that. You are always supposed to hit the marks. And every time I would do the rap battles only would the game give me a error pop up when I closed the game. After the main rhythem part you are supposed to sync with the hands and when they come down go towards the shadow.
When fighting the piano boss the notes are very hard to dodge (O or B). I wonder if it is possible to parry these notes. Minimap bot knows only Zuke can parry but says the button is left bumper which is character switch for me. In the menu it does not show a parry button . But it might be the shoot button (R1 RB) Mostly I just kept rolling around collecting bullets and shooting until mom comes down and wailing on her. If you do not start hitting her the first few times she comes down it gets harder and harder.

Unlock as many turrets as possible while avoiding aoes is pretty much the only thing you can do until she comes down.
Pick them off one by one and transform corpses. Save bullets for when TV guy comes out. So annoying even when he comes down you need bullets for him. You on the ground. Catch these hands. Ranged mods work at least.
Does not tell you at all. Eventually you will see mirrors you have to break. And you have to switch between characters when she seperates you . It tells you where she is if you are on the same plane but not when she leaves which is weird. The way I would tell is if turrets I transformed would start to instantly go down.
To bring her down hit the crown or used a ranged mod. Need to generate a full key before she loses all her health. Ranged mods are isnta kills even for bosses so using them before you generate the keys can break the game. I only was able to generate them by meeling her and when she loses all her health she generates a shield that can only be penetrated by the keys.
Everything after this is so easy. If you have issues on these parts transforming use ranged mods to stop enemey spawning. That is it. The credits art is very cute. There is no after credits. You get to keep everything but you are taken before you fight tatianna which is really weird cause a lot happens after that but whatever.
I really wanted to play by myself first bc the only ppl I got to play coop with are the kids and they would make me play as Zuke and not let me explore and probably make me skip the cut scenes and I wanna expierrence all of it. I am excited to add another game to the coop arsenal.
The reverse mermaid boss made me so happy. Reminds me of the drawing I did of my betta as a reverse mermaid except I drew them with an iv and some knives. I used to be scared of fish and am more scared of the ocean . They were so smart and sassy. I wish betta had longer life spans. I do not think I ever want to deal with that ever again it is way too complicated keeping fish alive in a tank unless I get a fucking scientist to do it for me. Anyway im multitasking and wasnt able to quickly find one with the legs. in the photo but even this is the exact angle I had drew my betta in.
Everyday I hate Apple for making developers think everyone in the world wants these bubble/circle updates where a swipe in the wrong direction takes you to another dimension please i like my user friendly ui please
