They're a college student, and jobs are difficult to come by lately. As dae is also an adult and has to pay for college fees, gas, and bills without the support of their mom. Hence why he pings. Getting a job isn't simple and trying to get a job in between intense school schedules, it'd be better for him to do commissions, then go off to a job and have to stack up even more stress. He's not begging for money he's trying to earn it.

Some little tips for my fellow ADHD pals:

1: Make notes. Write things down. Memory is finicky and there's no shame in just putting sticky notes around to help you remember shit

2: If you find yourself often getting stuck in executive dysfunction/task paralysis, instead of just telling yourself "I need to do this" over and over try to frame it more as "I'll get up and do this in five minutes". This may not work for everyone, but it's helped me exponentially

3: Keep important things where you can clearly see them. Whether it's medication, food in the fridge, whatever. This especially applies if you frequently struggle with the "out of sight, out of mind" kind of thing

4: Give yourself some kind of incentive if you're struggling to work on something you don't care about/like. Eat a chocolate chip for every page of a book you read, for example. It doesn't have to huge, just something to motivate yourself

5: If you're struggling with restlessness, try doing simple exercises. Going for a walk, doing stretches, that kind of thing. It can help manage the restlessness itself, and it's also just good to move around

You should stop pumping out adopts that you most likely will never finish and actually work on your owed art LMFAO... Some people have been waiting for almost half a year on their commissions that you frequently put off, despite making empty promises of emptying your queue or working on a certain project at a certain time. I get you're busy and in no way an art machine, but if you're too busy to work on commissions, maybe spending your free time making adopts that are never done isnt a good idea

Hey! While I understand the confusion, I am not a child and need to constantly make adopts and open commissions to live, to eat? To drink? To have a roof over my head?

Yes I'm not an art machine, but if my current orders need to be held off because I need to get money to get gas, get groceries, get rent done, etc. Then I'm gonna do that. My clients are all well aware of this and are well aware of my irl situation. I don't get "free time" I get work time. I'm either at my irl job, or at home working on commissions and adopts constantly. I do NOT get money from my irl job, my parents get that money. There's no such thing as "free time" for me. I am constantly working on commissions. Both old and new. And some clients have been waiting even longer than what you listed simply because I've been so busy.

Furthermore, if you know so much, then you should also know that i don't work with a tablet or with some touchscreen. I work with a trackpad meaning everything has to be done without a pen or tablet. And I use a program that constantly crashes on me.

Sadly i cannot follow through on dates often times. Due to my irl situation. Meaning I am constantly giving my clients compensation by upgrading their orders. Next time if you're going to send a weird passive aggressive message acting like you know what's going on when you don't, do your research first. On average a badge alone from me which is a symmetrical headshot takes me at the very minimum 4-9 hours. So you can imagine how long other kinds of orders take.
