Lore/Background story:
Lottie is regular girl who's lived an average life in Lilycove City with not much fanfare. Loving parents, average school life, and crippling amounts of anxiety. Because of her extreme timidity, she struggles with interpersonal relationships for most of her life despite her desires to befriend her peers. Wanting a way to change herself in order connect with others better, she was inspired by Pokémon trainers and battles to become a trainer herself.
She'd study anything and everything about Pokémon all in preparation of becoming a great Trainer that everyone would want to hang out with!
At 10 years old, she decided to catch her very own Pokémon based on a specific critea that would make her very first partner Pokémon a unique choice that'd definitely spark a conversation! A trip to Granite Cave under the guidance of her Dad and 20 Ultra Balls later would she obtain her now beloved and closest friend, Mawile!
She trained with her Mawile daily in hopes people would admire and approach her for her strength but is ultimately too timid to challenge anyone or be challenged.
At 14 years old, Her Dad gets a job in a different region which causes her and her family to move to the tropical islands of Alola. The winds of change of Alola would give her an opportunity for a difference in her otherwise unspectacular life. Things will be different this time!
