Baby was actually created as an interactive art project for London Burningman Decompression 2011, called 'akachan-el'. Around my waist was a TV held up by braces with baby legs and the baby itself was emerging from my belly. Passers-by were invited to come and say hello to my baby at which point baby would start waving its arms and its red led dummy would flash.
Funnily it was possibly the baby legs on my shoulders and baby arm headband that took people aback more than the robotic baby 'on a baby', and the electronic baby on a baby was actually a pretty good disguise for the fact I was 6 months pregnant. At the zombie crawl a couple of weeks later, the bump was a bit more apparent and a couple of people were a little more taken aback by the zombie baby sitting on my actual baby!
