“If you want me to put some pants on turn around. I’d rather not be charged for anything.” the archer replies snarkily, forcing the smaller girl to look away from him and putting some distance in between them before quickly yanking his boxers on underneath the fluffy white towel that covered him.
Paying little to no attention to Artemis’ presence and her words, he moves over towards his dresser and casually starts to dress himself. Sunday, hm? Not exactly his proudest day. “What of it?” he asks, keeping a cool facade. Because things like that just happen sometimes, and you can’t pay too much mind to them, or god knows how your situation will end. “Look, bra- Artemis. Let’s drop it. Fact of the matter is we were both lonely.” he starts, not even bothering to look back at the blonde. “Things with Wally aren’t going so well, right? If they were, he wouldn’t even let you be here.” Ending the conversation with just that, giving her little if any room to speak, Roy walks over towards Artemis, raising one arm about her head and forcing her into the corner. Chest still bare as ever.
“Now, if that’s it, I suggest you leave. Because honestly, for a girl like you to be alone in a room with a guy like me… that’s not exactly what we’d call safe.”
Artemis liked to believe that ever since she had joined the team, she had learned to keep her emotions in check. Something about Roy Harper managed to make her blood boil, and it wasn’t the fact he called her “replacement“ any chance he got.
She couldn’t believe he was looking down at her both literally and figuratively with his stupid, smug smirk with the nerve to insult and threaten her in the same sentence. Now that was something her father had definitely trained her to deal with.
Her legs shot out like lighting, sweeping under him and catching him off guard. She quickly pressed her weight against his, and with blonde hair tricking down his face she bent over and spoke in harsh tones into his ear.
“Listen to me Speedy,” she said with contained fury, “I’m not some girl you can intimidate and put down like I’m below you.” She tightened the grip on his hands. “I earned my place on the team, and whatever happens between me and my team-mates is probably none of your business anyways.”
Artemis let go of her grip on him and stood up. ”You want to know what’s happening with me and Wally, ask him yourself.”
