hello. yes. finally answering these asks.
i just think. grian's wings should be plucked, feather by feather. maybe someone is kind enough to collect them for him, to keep them so he can have a collection for himself. and once they're bare and naked and he's trying to hide them, completely ashamed of what he looks like as this in-between half-thing, they should be locked behind him, bound so tight that he can feel the bones clicking inside whenever he moves.
maybe they snap the little wings by his ears, pin them to his head and bend them around far enough that they just crack. maybe they tear them straight off- it wouldn't be that bad of an injury, after all, and this is all in the pursuit of grian's (eventual) comfort. this is all worth it, they promise.
locking him in place with ropes, or maybe even chains. they've got to file down his fangs, his claws, and they don't want him thrashing! wouldn't it be just awful if he got hurt any more than he needs to? i mean, goodness, grian, if you don't stop moving, we might just have to pull your teeth instead!
and when they're all done and he's been plucked and softened and buffed, then they can present him to the rest of the server! look, he's all pretty and normal now :) can't hurt you anymore! come see, come touch the raw red skin of his plucked wings or kiss him and feel how blunt his teeth are!!
