i dont actually care if nonsharing selfshippers think they "own" the character or block other fans of said character lol like as long as they are just blocking people and not harassing others or being rude about it, i literally do not care.

i always see videos defending nonsharers that are like "WE DON'T THINK WE OWN THE CHARACTER/WE DON'T JUST BLOCK PPL WHO LIKE THE SAME CHARACTER AS US" and while that is so valid and I'm sure most are like that. I am also sure there are some nonsharers who DO just block everyone who likes the same character as they do. And i still dont gaf dfkljg

Like people are so worried about being blocked by strangers. It doesn't matter if it's for the pettiest reasons ever. if someone blocks you just?? deal with it?? especially if you didnt know they existed beforehand. i really cannot wrap my head around the entitlement some people feel in regards to being blocked.

and you may think that mindset is unhealthy or whatever but also again if they arent harassing people and just blocking silently to curate their feed and be happy on the internet, im not gonna give a fuck if they believe they are the only person who should like the character. shrugs. it really just is not that big of a deal to me. i've blocked people for less in my history of being online lol
