Returning to Somerset House for its sixth year, featuring a fresh line-up of artists and designers bringing the best of new illustration, graphic design and related disciplines to inspire and delight.

Narrowed my focus to Editorial Illustration as a future pathway after my degree.

Editorial Outcome:

My outcome reflects a factual narrative looking at history, facts about the current underground systems, it contains my own photographs that i have taken on the tube.

I have considered the layout and on some pages i have extracted bits of my photos and arranged them in strips to give the reader a little view of the architecture, colour and people you see on the tube.

Editorial workshop with Toby: after reading articles in the guardian newspaper, and constructing a finished editorial image after reading an article based around” the oscars” (top).

I found it challenging but totally interesting at the same time as it was something that I have never attempted before.

Stanley Kubrick: black and white underground Photography.

Shot throughout the 1940s captures the Hollywood atmosphere.
