This was supposed to be for a zine... but my life has been so hectic I didn’t manage to finish it in time. Maybe I’ll finish it still, but I’d rather just move on at this point which is how I feel about everything in general right now hahah.

Another painting wip! I just wanted to design a character with a hood and practice painting darker skin.
Here’s some painted field journal entries I did for my Natural History class.
This was going to be a painting exercise that I ended up severely dissatisfied with midway through hahah. I wanted to take a pre-existing character design (the runner from Utada’s ‘Kremlin Dusk’ animated music short) and render them in a more realistic manner. Gunna try this again!!!
I progressed on this a bit from when I last posted a wip, but then thesis happened & honestly it’s so old at this point I don’t think I’ll bother finishing it! There’s still some moments in it that I enjoyed tho so I figured I’d post it anyways :’) .
Some in process studies I’ll probably not finish! Gotta keep hustlin’ onward.
An illustration I did for fun where I wanted to try painting/drawing something I haven't ever done before so... chipmunk :') !!!
I did this illustration over last summer for a Sailor Moon art book that I'm assuming fell through... It's a bit of an older piece now, but this was my first time drawing and painting everything on one layer :') .

Just wanted to say thank you for the pictures of Kairi, Namine, and Xion you drew. Those were awesome! And your blog looks awesome, too. It's really cool to see characters breaking gender stereotypes. Having them in dresses and skirts in nice, but so are the suits. I hope you draw more art like that. <3

I’m glad you enjoyed the drawings, I agree it’s great seeing more typically feminine portrayed characters breaching gender stereotypes as well :’) especially characters like Kairi & Namine who are often reduced to only those portrayals. You can definitely expect more art like that from me guaranteed!!!
