So it’s been a while since I updated my tumblr (currently writing up a little catch up, the babies are doing so well) BUT off topic for a second, this mama is finally going to be wifed! After 7 amazing years and two beautiful children, we’re finally getting married ❤️💍

Finally plucked up the courage and allowed Olivia to hold Archie for the first time; she showered him in kisses, you can just see how much she loves him. Little tantrum when I had to take him away, she just wants to hold him all the time. My beautiful babies 💖💙

BA 💙 Our beautiful baby boy, Archie Michael Bell, born 06:21am, September 30th weighing 8lbs3.5oz! He didn’t keep us waiting long, he arrived 3 hours after my waters breaking at 39 weeks and 2 days, exactly like his big sister. We cannot wait to introduce him to Olivia!

8 days until due date.

Three days until I went into labour with my daughter at 39+2. I’m praying baby boy doesn’t make me wait much longer than that, but I’m prepared. When I was pregnant with Olivia, I really didn’t give labour and delivery much thought, but now I’ve endured it and know what to expect, well relatively, I’m on edge and so nervous. I can only hope and pray that it goes as smooth as my last.

I’ve got the 2nd of October in my head for some reason. I don’t want him to arrive on October 3rd because of that damn Mean Girls meme that goes around every year lol.

2 weeks and 5 days until due date 💙🎉 I know she doesn't understand, but in my head Olivia is happy and excited to meet her baby brother.

I've got really bad birth anxiety, for reasons I simply cannot explain. My birth experience with my daughter was so straightforward and positive; 3 hours of active labour after my waters broke naturally, which entailed 20 minutes of gas and air and 42 minutes of pushing. I had a second degree tear but the thought of that again honestly isn't scary, stitches uncomfortable but manageable.

So I can't understand why I'm so scared. I'm really getting into my head about this. I think I just need to stay focused on the end result. The euphoric feeling you get after they're placed in your arms and you just think to yourself, wow I did this. Making the announcement and sharing the photos and waiting for the family to visit.

36 weeks and 2 days pregnant now. It's been a very uncomfortable week and I've had very uncomfortable braxton hicks and some quite harsh cramps too. Olivia arrived at 39w2d, so I'm hoping Archie is "early" too. I'm gonna keep my fingers crossed and as of 37 weeks next week, I'll be trying natural methods to get my body geared up for labour. So ready to have him here now and for the birth anxiety to go away!

That's Archie's crib all set up and ready for him. I'll be packing our hospital bags this week. This has been the quickest nine months of my life. Only 6 weeks to go 👶🏻💙
