Today is the first night in the new house, but unfortunately we found fresh mice trails, which is a nightmare of mine since I need this house sterile and pest free before baby p comes. We even had electric mouse traps out for over a week baited just in case there was some and didn’t catch anything! Ordering snap traps now.
We need to move more things into the house tomorrow, I hoped to get it all but we failed to. My plants and reptiles need to come as well.
We are tired. My husband has been nonstop moving since like 9am, and it’s about midnight now, plus he does nights with baby e when she wakes up.
Dress holding on by a thread 😌
34 week bump!
This pregnancy has flown by in a blur, but trying to savor every moment of it I can!
6 weeks left!
It was going to be a cute post about how I took Taravali out for a hike. She got a little messy and had burs in her hair so I cleaned her up and now everyone’s cuddling.
It’s not cute. It’s not fun. She got into seed ticks. I want to burn everything. NOT just little ticks. Freakishly tiny ticks that attack in droves. I shaved her down with a 3mm but even if she was completely bald it wouldn’t have helped much. I used a lot of Wondercide before the hike so we didn’t really have any problems with the normal sized ticks but I didn’t spray her paws which is where I’m finding a lot of these monsters. My day/evening/night has been spent doing damage control. Hopefully her preventative will knockout them out before they get too far.
My doctor is a man in his late 40s/early 50s and to say I was hesitant to have another male OB is an understatement. I’ve had bad experiences with physicians of both genders but 2 of my caretakers while pregnant with Sky were apathetic and/or severely lacking bedside manner.
My doctor since I arrived in Miami has:
1) taken my labs and done my ultrasounds himself.
2) a few weeks ago he said I looked pale in his strong Jordanian accent, asked how I was feeling, then gave me a banana from his desk to eat 😂
3) today after telling him about lifting Sky + spotting + BH he gave me his cell phone number and told me to call him at any hour if I plan to head to the hospital so he can meet me there 🥹
So yes, he doesn’t do VBACs but all I *really* wanted was a doctor who gave a shit and who actually planned to deliver my baby + visit me in the hospital (my last doctor did none of those things 😒).
Feeling very grateful today 🙏🏽
Puppy passed their trick dog novice test 🤓
Getting really big! I am 34 weeks now and I am huge but totally loving it 😊
