(Part 3) Suddenly an artists oc or fandom character is being claimed by someone identifying as kin and will say “oh I’m actually your character”. It feels horribly disrespectful to the artist because hey! They frickin made that character to begin with! Who tf are these people to come up and say “oh I’m your work.” BULLSHIT. I get very angry and heated over people identifying as kin personally. So yeah, please don’t go claiming pinky or navy as “you” or Kin. They belong to the mun only.

(Part 2) Kin will often claim they can feel “missing parts” of their bodies, for instance a tail or horns or wings. Sometimes they will get angry at people that “step on their tail in public” or “crowds shoving and pushing against their wings.” Basically kin believe they TRULY ARE someone/something else. This has been an increasing issue in fandoms especially with artists.

(Part 1) For the anon that was asking about Kin, from my understanding it is when a personal fully and undoubtedly believes that they have lived a past life as someone else. In fandoms it tends to be a character. Kin identifiers will argue that they lived said past life in another universe or something along those lines. For instance, a person might believe they are “kin” to Bendy from BATIM. They will have “vivid memories as being Bendy himself”.

Kins are people who believe they are incarnations of different things (space, plants, animals, anime characters, real people)

And since they are this thing they sometimes (some not all ) tag ppls art or ocs claiming to be them.

And personally its offensice to me to tag someone else's oc or creation as kin bc they made it and had to draw insp from somewhere.
