Remaining 4 B.A.P Members Part Ways With TS Entertainment After Deciding To Not Renew Contracts

The four remaining member of B.A.P have all elected to not renew their contracts with agency TS Entertainment.

On February 18, the agency shared the news on B.A.P’s official fan cafe with a post titled, “Official statement regarding the future activities of B.A.P.” Their statement reads as follows:

Hello. This is TS Entertainment.

We would like to notify you that TS Entertainment’s exclusive contracts with B.A.P members Himchan, Daehyun, Youngjae, and Jongup have ended.

With the exclusive contracts that B.A.P members Himchan, Daehyun, Youngjae, and Jongup had with TS Entertainment ending, we have come to the agreement that they will not renew their contracts and will instead find their own paths.

We wish to sincerely thank all of the Korean and international fans who have sent their love to B.A.P members Himchan, Daehyun, Youngjae, and Jongup, and we hope you will continue to support them in the future.

Thank you.

With this announcement, all six members of B.A.P have now parted ways with TS Entertainment after deciding to not renew their contracts. The members had contracts that ended on different dates, leading to a staggered departure from the agency. First, it was announced in August 2018 that Bang Yong Guk would be leaving the agency, with Zelo following suit in December 2018.

We wish the members of B.A.P all the best in their future endeavors!

Choi Junhong debuted on December 1st 2011 at the age of 15. He debuted as a member of B.A.P on January 26th 2012. He gave up his childhood to become a trainee, his youth to become an idol and 7 years of his life for Babyz. Despite the termination of his contract with TS Entertainment he still continued with their World Tour for Babyz. B.A.P have always given their everything for us, even if it wasn’t in their best interest; and Zelo is testiment to that.

I personally am incredibly thankful for everything he has given us and for his departure from TS. We had the absolute privilege of watching that boy grow into a man that we can be extremely proud of. B.A.P took on the role of helping raise and influence Junhong and they truly did right by him. I’m so wholly excited to see him embark on this new chapter in his life, to see him develop his own style and person free from the terms of a contract.

B.A.P have always, and will always, be a family. They may not all be together moving forward but that in no way nullifies their bond. I have not a single doubt in my mind that Babyz will continue seeing all of our boys supporting and encouraging one another, just as they have always done. So let’s do the same and continue to support Bang Yongguk, Choi Junhong and B.A.P as three separate and individual artists. Let’s encourage them in everything they do, especially with the remaining members nearing the ends of their own contracts as well.

B.A.P is forever a 6. Babyz are forever for B.A.P.
