She nods. "Uh huh, momma, her friend, and n and grandpa and some grunts are here. Though I don't know why they call them grunts..." She frowns in thought at this point, clearly considering this. "It's not abandoned at all, mister. I'm not surprised he's sleeping on watch, though... He's not a very good guard."

"I live here, actually. I've never seen you before-- how did you find your way in?" The tone, curious, is paired with an obviously inquisitive sort of look. It's not often she encounters anyone from outside.

With a roll of his eyes and a laugh he just ruffles her hair.  ”I think you’re supposed to think that about your older siblings, Lunch.  But I’m going to do my best to do better from now on, though.”

"I guess. Don't try too hard though, okay? Everyone is fine, I think, so there isn't any real point in worrying yourself too much. Your illusions might fail or something."

            "Even smart men can be fools, child.  You’ll learn that as you grow older.”  He stares down at her, wondering just what people have told her about him.  ”And if he guards the castle so poorly then why would he ever be one of the castle guards?”

"I actually don't know, and I don't know who decided he should guard things. It's been that way since I hatched," she mumbles as she puzzles this over. It's a good question, actually. She should ask why he's guarding things.

"Is not." She literally just stares. "He's smart. He just doesn't guard the castle well."

"Oh my Arceus!  Ah… If you’re ever sleepy and we are, um… You should probably just go sleep with Kit.  I mean if it goes on for a while.  He stays up all night… And could carry you back here later or something."

"He also says that I should probably ask you to wash the sheets. Also, you're really red in the face... Are you okay?"
