Sleeping next to someone is honestly the nicest thing. Like when you half wake up at 4am and squeeze them or they move in tighter to you.

Ive traveled to find a town like this in wich I now live, and im still in awe if not more for posts like this 🌴☀️💦
This morning, as I was having coffee on the balcony and planning to go out I started getting painful cramps again, I had to go lay in my bed with the fan on.
Being forced to lay down, heal and think is the most powerful thing. I think period pain shapes who you are. Looking away at the foggy mountains, laid in bed, swimming in my daydream. I kiss my shoulders and hug myself the way a swiss girl I met in hawaii taught me to. I dream of who I already am and who I want to become.
As a woman, period pain teaches you to heal with thoughs of love and gratitude.

I missed work from being really sick from period pain, it stopped from going for breakkie with my friends that were leaving on a road trip for months. On the brighter side, it is all happenning during a couple days of heavy tropical rain, so loud it clears out my roomate's club music. I had two days of magical sleep of bird singing and rain pouring. One of my roomate treats this pretty wooden house as a dirty party appartement and leaves his underwear and fast food on the floor, wears too much cologne and drinks until sunrise. However, my other roomate wakes up at sunrise, eats the cleanest, healthiest food and brings back girls, never too late, girls who play ukulele softly in the hallway and politely ask for directions to the washroom. There is so much tall trees rocking back and forth in the wind outside. It has been raining for days and I couldn't be happier about the bad weather, wich clears out the town of party backpackers, replaced by older people early in the morning saying good morning to each other. It disappoint my party roomates who suddenly clash with the poetic slowness of nature. This warm corner of the world that I currently have, it isn't perfect but it has glimpses of perfect sometimes.
Im eating expensive apricot and coconut treats in bed and I think I have come to the very right place.
My heroes were Australian girls on instagram that lived on outdoor adventures, healthy eating and living in a bikini. I still miss none of their updates and they still inspire me so much, but now that I am here, the difference is that I now have the same opportunities.
