BACH IN THE SUBWAYS DAY is an international movement started by cellist Dale Henderson in hopes to sow the seeds for future generations of classical music lovers by generating public awareness of and enthusiasm for the art form. THE IDEA IS PURE AND SIMPLE: Play Bach at any subway station or any public space at any time of the day on Bach's 329th birthday, Friday, March 21. We're looking for musicians who will play for the People, not for money, and are passionate about sharing the incredible music of Bach. On March 21st, Los Angeles will be joining New York, Cincinnati, Boston, Miami, Seattle, San Francisco, Iowa City, Pennsylvania State University, Saint Louis, Los Angeles, Berlin (Germany), Taipei (Taiwan), Edmonton (Canada), Walldorf (Germany) for BACH IN THE SUBWAYS DAY. This will be L.A.'s debut performance. Bookings? Questions?
