“Well..What do you want me to say? ‘It’s okay that you emotionally scarred me for the rest of my life, but let’s go get a slice of pizza anyway’? I don’t know what to feel right now..”

Without saying anything else, she walked up to him and grabbed him by his arm, pulling him closer to her. Staring into his eyes, she spoke in a more calm tone. “I do know what I should be feeling. I want you to understand what you did. I really just want you to see something in my eyes that I can’t figure out because maybe you can. I feel like you’re the only who could ever fix… X’hal. I sound like the most corniest person ever.”

He looked right back into her eyes, heart thumping, blood flowing and adrenaline rushing. He cupped her cheeks gently and put his forehead to hers, eyes closed. After a short sigh, he chuckled, "Corny was never your strong suit... Look, I will do anything to make up for hurting you..." He opened his eyes again and waited for her reply.

Finger wagging and a laugh echoing in a distance, the thrown punch went right through Professor Zoom, or rather, the after image left behind in the wake of his movements.

Thawne did his own speed adjusting, utilizing his own temporal powers in synchronization with his prized speed force. He was tuning into the good Doctor's own timeline, in an attempt to have proper presentation.

Jason felt an extreme sense of satisfaction seeing the scientist take the kick to his chest. The crack of his rib cage was like music to Jason’s ears. He was winning this fight and he was enjoying watching the evil speedster suffer. But then something changed at nothing more at the utterance of a word. Jason’s sense’s did not dull. He could still sense everything going on around him, but it was all slowed, potentially even stopped. Jason took in his surrounding. Everything was at a stand still. He could see the blood from Zoom’s mouth floating in mid air, but now moving. He could see birds sitting place, while still soaring in the air. It was a surreal experience and he did not know what exactly had happened. It was then that Jason realized that the movements of Eobard did not slow down, and Jason understood what had happened immediately. The bastard had stopped time and now Jason was a sitting duck, and there was nothing that he could do. What had Jason gotten himself into?

Without the aid of his speed force to heal him, Eobard was still writhing in pain on the ground, but he had a smile of his own satisfaction. The table had been turned for now.

"I can leave you like-- like this forever. But I won't. I need you to explain to me, just what the hell you have to do with Blackfire. I didn't even know you two knew each other. D-did she put you up to this?"

His voice was hoarse, and his thoughts wandered to his lungs, hoping to whatever diety existed, that his lungs weren't ruptured.
