Loki is holding the timelines with all his strength, a vacant look in his eyes, when Mobius kneels before him.

“Loki.”

There is no answer. Loki doesn’t even blink. His grip tightens, knuckles pale.

“Loki, let go of the timelines.”

He doesn’t react. His breathing is shallow, his gaze fixed on nothing, distant.

“My love.”

Loki’s breath stutters.

Only then does he look up, finally meeting Mobius’ eyes. Mobius smiles gently, grounding.

“My love, you can let go of the timelines now.”

Loki’s hands tremble. His eyes fill with tears as he finally releases them.

Loki managed to come back from the Tree just in time for B-15 wedding with Peter. Sylvie is heartbroken and spends the whole time glued to Mobius, so Loki is extremely jealous the whole day thinking they got feelings for each other while he was away

I found this moment very interesting, because I feel it clearly shows their age difference. Judy, being a centennial with 24 doing the heart with two fingers, while Nick doesn't understand how to do that, like a true millennial, and ends up doing with his whole hand and an awkward smile 😂

This moment was so heartbreaking for Nick

Judy and him just had a fight, where Judy told him they were too different to be together. He knows that this is partly because of his inability to express what he is truly afraid of: loosing her

Meanwhile, Judy gets saved by the very guy that flirted with her at the gala, and someone who appears to be on the same page as her about helping Gary and saving the city

So he has to see Judy in Pawbert's arms, being taken away from him while he can do nothing but watch from afar

Mobius knows all of his tricks. He can't be fooled, he can't be charmed, he can't be lied to. That was one of the things that drew Loki in when they first met, that Mobius could see right through all the pantomime.

However, that is proving to be an issue now because, again, he doesn't fall for Loki's charm. Loki has been trying to woo the man for months now and nothing works! Every time he flirts with Mobius, he doesn't take it seriously, or he downplays it, or he laughs and changes the subject.

Loki: I love my friends at the TVA. They are my safe space, the people I belong with. They are my chosen family.

X: Oh that's so cute! So you think of Mobius as a brother?

Loki: NO!

Loki being absolutely distressed seeing Mobius casually flirting with another Loki variant.

They look EXACTLY the same, so why has Mobius never flirted with him??? The fact that it has to do with something more personal is heartbreaking.

Meanwhile, Mobius is just enjoying the attention and ego boost. He would never dare flirt with his Loki because they are best friends and he adores Loki and would never risk that - Loki definitely does not feel the same way and his heart would not survive something casual between them
