The cat is waiting for his interview and the newscaster won’t stop laughing. How rude and unprofessional
People die on the job every summer. Remember that water and shade breaks are crucial when working in the heat, and calling emergency services for signs of serious heat illness (fatigue, nausea/vomiting, headaches, dizziness, clammy skin, confusion, agitation, slurred speech, high body temperature, rapid heart rate, etc.) is entirely appropriate. If you’re afraid to call 911 for reasons such as being undocumented, you’ll need to get very familiar with how to prevent, recognize, and treat heat illness. If you are symptomatic and not allowed a break, water, or medical treatment, walk out. No matter how broke you are, your job is not worth your life.

Somehow Still Alive
Fentanyl has officially made the drug scene more dangerous and lame than it ever has been. Perhaps at 35 years of age, i'm just getting old and can't hang... I mean i really can't hang, since the beginning of 2022 ive been narcanned more times than i can count.
I thought using meth and black tar heroin were edgy and dangerous, but i only had one overdose on Black tar and I had to be pretty ridiculous to have done that shot that day after drinking allday and being clean a while.
I have overdosed on fentanyl from one hit wayyy too many times. Its made me break out in sores and assault fools to keep myself high. Downtown Portland became more comfortable to me than my own home. Its ridiculous, Ive had at least 30 different phones in the last 2 years. If it werent for my real friends and ability to be comfortable in danger, id be gone. Ive had more trips to the hospital in the last two years than I have in my life prior. Straight up. This drug is the worst ive seen and done. And ive been using hard drugs for 23 years. 14 of those years were intravenously and often while drinking. But Fentanyl is different. Its not a good high. Its short and nothing to remember. I became dependent after 1 day of using, it caused me to have withdrawl that quick. Using heroin, Id enjoy my high and remember it. I also wouldnt get dopesick unless i used 3 days in a row. Not the story with this new shit. Instead after 24 hrs your dependent. And trying to kick is somehow way more intense. Even maxing out on 3 suboxone didnt work. Now im on Methadone and its helping a bit. But jeez, I could kick heroin with half of a suboxone.
I worry for the next generation of people who use drugs. I worry what will they come up with next?
I have really strong feeling for a girl who is amazing, that has never judged me on my highest, stupidest days. I met her on here, having fun making meth videos. It was a whole different vibe back then. Since then she has gotten clean for the most part and finished some schooling. Im so proud of the progress she has made and how strong she has been during the last few difficult years. But myself, I've been slipping closer and closer to death, and going the opposite direction of my dumb ass. She loves me and I love her. She might even read this. I have a chance still and im gonna take my shot treating her the way she deserves. I used to message her and call her all the time, naturally and we'd love it. But now days fly by and I dont even respond because I'm braindead and full of shame. If I fail, then my only wish is that someone else makes her life better and she can be happy. I'm not with all that jealousy shit. I love her and want her to be happy. And if I dont straighten out, Then I dont deserve her. I am on Methadone now and trying really hard to get my old self back. But this shit has wrecked me worse than my 23 years of hard drug abuse. I used to bounce back and be happy and get up and work etc. Nowadays even not using, i struggle to work once a week. Or to get out of bed etc. I'm hoping that after a good amount of time without using and adjusted to the methadone, I'll be that guy I loved again. I want to love myself again.
It has caused me to commit several crimes, and become cold as ice in the street. I pushed my use way to close to the edge and by all rights should be dead. I wish I was dead instead of my nephew. I wish I was there to help him get clean and be a good uncle instead of secretly indulging in my own addiction.
The worst most heartbreaking part of it all is my nephew passed away a few months ago from an overdose on Fentanyl. He was 18 years old and my family will never recover from the pain and sorrow this drug has caused when it ripped my nephews life from us. He was in jail and told the judge he didnt trust himself not to relapse. So they sent him to treatment were someone gave him the hit that took his life.
This broke me. The guilt of facing my family at his funeral while dopesick sent me off the edge. Again I don't deserve to be alive still. But I am and I'm gonna have to get it right so his mom ( my sister) doesnt have to go through the same lose with me. I want to get clean and help some folks survive. Thats what he would of wanted. I miss you nephew, You were too kind to get caught up in this bullshit. You didnt know itd kill you. Its just unfair.
Throwback from like a year ago maybe
My angel Thorn is the best part of my life these days. She's always there for me and makes me have a reason to be somewhat responsible. I have to take good care of her, if I didn't have her, I'd probably go wayyy to hard and be hella strung the fuck out
This special lady I've been crushing on gave me some nugs for hella cheap! 30$ for an OZ is def a steal even here in Oregon, perhaps she thinks I'm cute also, because I can't find good weed that cheap anywhere except when I visit her <3
there's been a spike in fentanyl related overdoses and deaths in york region in ontario which is right by where I live
so in light of that, I just want to give a few reminders:
if you're using, please keep a naloxone kit nearby (you can get them free at most pharmacies)
if possible, get fentanyl test strips, to test your stuff for fentanyl
if you can, having someone nearby that can help administer naloxone, comfort you if you have a bad high, or even just remind you that you're not alone, can extremely helpful
if there's a supervised/safe consumption site near you, consider making use of it! the people and resources are there to support you, it's okay to engage with them!
most of all, stay safe. stay alive. the world's a better place with you in it.
Prohibition created the fentanyl crisis. More of it will just make things worse
Michelle Tandler – a former venture capitalist and wealthy “anti-San Francisco influencer“ – publicly bemoaned the lack of vigilante groups in the Bay area as she mused about whether or not fentanyl sellers should be lynched. As a researcher who studies drug prohibition, I responded by pointing out that not only is this kind of bloodthirsty rhetoric abhorrent, but drug sellers are, for the most part, workers entrapped in a violent system of marginalization, trying to survive where they have been denied functional access (often through systemic racism) to the licit job market. I pointed out, as my colleagues and I often do, that prohibition is in fact a root cause of most of the harm and chaos stemming from the drug trade. Legalization and regulation would save many lives. Even Twitter owner Elon Musk weighed in on this contentious discussion, surprising many with his stance in favour of the legalization of fentanyl. Despite this, I received dozens of threats and harassing messages for stating a position backed up by evidence.
[…]
Prohibition isn’t fighting the fentanyl crisis – it helped create it in the first place. The more the police crack down – while little is done to address the root question of why so many people want painkillers – the more they push it underground. Drug busts incentivize the flooding of the market with more compact, stronger drugs. More potent drugs are easier to transport and hide, but they’re also more dangerous as they’re difficult to properly dose. It happens every time prohibition is implemented, from the banning of alcohol in the U.S. in the 1920s and 30s, which had the unintended consequence of displacing beer and wine with the consumption of harder liquors, all the way up to the present day, where fentanyl has largely replaced heroin – which replaced morphine, which replaced opium (which was made illegal in Canada in 1908).
Despite countless aggressive attempts, no amount of surveillance or state violence has been able to stamp out drugs, which are available even in prisons, the most heavily guarded places on Earth. This is not to say we should give up the fight to keep people safe from overdoses. Quite the opposite. It means we need to let go of old, punitive, ineffective methods and start trying approaches that actually make practical sense. We have to respect the dignity of our fellow human beings who are struggling and in pain.

I bought 82 bongs back in February for a bargain. It's a slow investment, but definitely making a good profit and hooking folks up with quality glass.
Id love to start growing and learning more soon, also I think it's legal in Oregon to make your own magic mushrooms with a legal grow kit see
