Reminder

As i awake and push for peace and growth, i am coming to terms that there are things that i dont have to understand. Why some people behave the way they do, why some people act the way they so, make their decisions etc. You won’t understand everything, it’s okay.

Just wanted to type it out. Remind myself. A lesson. A song played over the speakers earlier on. I’ve always knew this song. But there and then, the lyrics never touched me like they did. I weeped. And i went back to find the song. Replay. And again. At the third time i knew. I’m prolonging this. Quick G. Wake up. Wake up. Wake up.

I want you to remember this. This is how we are going to stay alive. X.

its really comforting to know that all the times i was at my lowest and loneliest in the past the whole time i had my self in the future and present who had survived those things looking back with love and tenderness and wishing desperately to offer comfort…i am my own guardian angel and i can use that knowledge when im struggling now and remember that somewhere there is a version of me that has survived this and is watching me with love and pride and joy in her heart

I’m in this funny state now where i feel conscious and i’m unhappy at my consciousness is letting me know im not happy and yet too conscious to cry or be stupid.

I’m okay myself i am. But i want to sleep forever.

you need to give yourself permission to be happy now. not when you lost weight, not when you found your soulmate, not when you have more money. we seek excitement from future events, but once those goals are met, the temporary pleasures will pass and they will be replaced by the next fantasy. devote your full attention to your inner self and appreciate being in the moment. happiness is never external, but a way of living and appreciating life. it’s not reality, just the way you perceive it. so go and shift your focus from the outcome to watching yourself grow.
