Farewell and Good Luck || Group Para

Charice: had reapplied her lipstick for the third time in the last 20 minutes as she waited for her friends and family to arrive for their farewell dinner party. It was finally happening. In 24 hours, she, Dylan and the kids would be flying to Paris to start the next chapter of their lives. To say that she was scared would be an understatement. To get to this point, she’d had to go through a lot of pain and suffering and sadly, she’d hurt people along the way. But she’d also found herself. She’d realized the kind of wife and mother she wanted to be, the kind of woman she wanted to be and who she wanted by her side. And while she knew that there were people who she would miss being able to see all the time, she knew that this was the right move for them all. The kids were excited, they’d loved Paris and while they’d been banished to the basement for their own farewell party with friends, she was sure they were going to miss the people who’d watched them grow up. “Baby,” she called, making her way down the stairs to the dining room where everyone would be gathered. “Can you grab one more bottle of wine for the table? I think I’m gonna need it.”

Dylan: had just got done helping the girls and their friends get things together for their own little party in the basement. He was glad that they were able to have the kids away from all the adults. Especially if anything goes left and with this group anything could happen. Especially since Sam seem like he was dealing with something top secret not really talking to him or their dad, unless it had something to do with Allison. And he wasn't gonna lie he was really worried about his brother and on top of everything else he was worried that his little plan with reuniting Santana and Charice was gonna blow up in his face. As he sat down on the couch to check his phone, he received a message from Santana "Speaking of the Devil" he smiled, but quickly frowned with a sigh. "come on Santana" he muttered, reading the message. He was hoping and praying that she was gonna come. He really wanted Santana and Charice to find some kind of closure before went off to Paris. But Santana decided it wouldn't be the best idea for her to come and as much as he wanted to beg her. He knew he had to respect her decision. He was pulled out of his thoughts from Charice calling him, placing his phone on the couch. "Sure babe.." he said softly, seeing that even she was a little on edge. He got up from his spot, walking over toward her giving her shoulder a little squeeze "Everything is gonna be okay!" he said softly, leaning down to kiss her before going into the kitchen to get the wine.

Sam: had just pulled up in the drive of Charice and Dylan's house. IF he was honest. He really didn't went to be here. It wasn't because he didn't want to see everyone. It was just he had so much on his mind, with the fight with his dad and trying to get everything ready for the baby. He just wasn't in the partying mood. But he made a promise to Charice and he was gonna keep it. . Besides he needed to tell Charice and Dylan that they were gonna be aunties and uncles and what better time to tell them. "You got this Sam... They are gonna be Happy!" he said to himself as he got out of his car, grabbing the gift basket that he had made for Charice. "He figured maybe giving her a gift basket full of her favorite stuff would soften the blow of not only is she gonna be an auntie but the mother is Alyssa.. her worst enemy. "She is gonna kill me." he groaned as walked up the steps. He leaned over to ring the door bell, trying to put on his best smile.

Mercedes: was dreading this dinner party. Saying goodbye to family was at the bottom of her list of things she wanted to do but saying goodbye to Charice and Dylan, after everything they’d all been through and after how much they’d meant to her, was going to be especially hard. But she understood why they needed to go. They’d done so much to get to where they are now, she had no choice to support their happiness, even if it meant seeing them leave. She just wished Lexi could be there to keep her calm but she was far too sick to even leave her bed much less go to a dinner party. The taxi she was in pulled up in front of their brownstone and she quickly paid before seeing Sam at the front door and jogging up the stairs. “Hey,” she smiled, seeing the gift in his hand. “Oh man I forgot a going away present.”

Brittany: was excited to be able to take some time off from to spend time with her friends. It had been a hot minute since she seen everyone and she was ready to spend some time with them and celebrate Dylan and Charice starting a new journey. Don't get her wrong she was gonna miss them both dearly. But she was happy that they found their way back to each other. It reminded Brittany that true love really does exist. She would have loved for Chris to come with her, but she didn't want to force Chris to come if he didn't want too. Especially since him and Dylan were still on the outs. She knows that as mad at Chris is at Dylan. He will come for Charice sake. At least she hope he will. She pulled up behind Sam's car, seeing that he was standing on the porch along with Mercedes. She got out of the car with a big smile on her face. "Hey guys!" she said walking on the steps.

Chris: was not a naturally bitter person. If anything he was the opposite. He forgave and forgave even when it led to him being hurt over and over again. But when it came to the protection of his family, he had a hard time forgiving. He’d watched the way that Charice had reached her breaking point due to her relationship with Dylan and while she was by no means innocent, he just couldn’t wrap his head around her wanting to be with him again. He was sure she was convinced that she was happy and he had faith that she would fight for that but he just didn’t know if he could handle her being hurt again after all she’s been through. And Dylan. He had been a best friend to Chris and he’d felt like he knew him well. But it was like Chris had been fooled and maybe he hadn’t known him as well as he thought he did. Overall he was confused. Confused as to why Charice would give Dylan another chance and leave the country with him. Confused as to how he could ever forgive Dylan but most of all he was wondering how he was going to handle them being gone for good. Sure they could visit but it would never be the same. And it left a hallow feeling in his chest. Which was why he’d taken the subway to Charice and Dylan’s house and had been standing around the corner for what felt like forever. He’d watched Sam and Mercedes walk up and had even seen Brittany park behind them. And yet he still couldn’t bring himself to walk the last block to their house. Maybe he never could.

Santana: sighed leaning against the head rest of her car, not being able to decide if she was really gonna pull out of her parking lot to head over to Dylan and Charice' house. She had already told Dylan that it would be best for her not come and wished them both well. But every time she went on to do work on something she would start thinking about Charice and wondering if she was making a big mistake by not going. This could be the last time that she ever got to see Charice face to face. She felt like she needed. NO owed Charice an apology for what she said and how she treated her best friend. Santana knew that she was going through so much hell with her voice and dealing with the fact that she was losing her vocal cords. But that didn't give her the right to treat Charice the way that she did. She was wrong and she was gonna fix it or at least tried to. So before changing her mind she quickly grabbed her keys to go see her friend. But as soon as she got in the car, even turning it on. She quickly wondered if her going to this party would be the best idea. The last thing she wanted to do was ruin Charice last day with her friends and family. "God Santana! When did you become such a coward! you're not Sam! you can do this.." she assured herself before backing out of her drive way heading down the road to go see her best friend for the last time. "No more running away!" she sighed. She finally made it a few blocks before Charice and Dylan's house, seeing Chris of all people standing on the side of the road. She had just talked to Chris last night and the last thing he said to her before hanging up was him saying how he refuses to go to the party. If she was honest she was happy to see that he might have changed his mind. She pulled over to the side, rolling down her window "Well Well Well.. If it isn't Dr Murray" she teased with a smirk as she stopped her car.

Charice: smiled at her husband as he encouraged her. He was right. Everything was going to be okay and even though she was leaving the country with some things unresolved, she knew that it was for the better. “I know,” she smiled, hearing the doorbell. “Calm and cute evening.” She jogged to the door and opened it with a grin seeing Sam, Mercedes and Brittany standing there. “Right in time,” she grinned, giving each of them a hug that she prayed conveyed how much she was going to miss them. She squeezed each tightly, trying to encase in her memory this exact moment. “Come in,” she said, her voice cracking already. She could do this. This was supposed to be fun, not a weep fest. Charice shook off the inevitable grief that would hit her when her house was finally empty and led the way to the dining room. “We’re gonna be eating in here.”

Dylan: grabbed the wine placing it on the table. "Exactly! positive vibes only" he said walking toward the door as Charice opened it. He was so excited to see all of his friends and even though he was a little annoyed with his brother, he was happy to see him too. "hey guys! Thanks for coming" he said waiting for Charice to hug everyone so he could get his turn. He could tell from the way his wife was hugging their friends that this was gonna be a little harder on her then they both thought. He got his hugs in Brittany, Mercedes and Sam. "Nice to actually see you brother" he said breaking the hug with a small smile. He looked down to see that Sam had some gifts in his hands and couldn't help but smile a little bigger. "Well that's one way to apologize for not calling. " he chuckled lightly grabbing the gifts as he followed everyone to the dining area.

Sam: smiled when Brittany and Mercedes walked up the porch "Hey guys" he said as he turned to greet Charice and Dylan as they opened the door. He walked into the house returning Charice hug, he could tell from how tight she hugged him that she was going through a bunch of emotions and as much as he wanted to pick on her. He decided to just enjoy the hug. So he place the gift basket on the floor to return it, giving her a tight little squeeze. Even though his mind was literally everywhere. He didn't forget that he was gonna miss her as well, more then he will ever admit. Besides he was sure that once she finds out about what he needed to tell them. She was gonna choke him. He broke the hug going to hug his Dylan "Gee Nice to see you too Brother." he smiled sarcastically as he hugged his brother back. He watched his brother grabbing the basket "I-I'm not apologizing.. I just wanted to give you guys a gift... what's wrong with bring gifts to a party?" he asked following everyone into the dinning room already feeling his nerves already getting the best of him.

Mercedes: could tell just by the way Charice hugged her that tonight was going to be emotional. She greeted Dylan and cut her eyes at Sam as he started to ramble about his gift. “Geez Sam, relax,” she laughed going to take her seat at the dining room table. Maybe it was the nerves of seeing his brother move away but he was acting weird and she could tell.

Brittany: returned the hug that she received Charice, smiling softly as she did. She knew that took a hot minute for her and Charice to get to the point where they could say they were friends. It was a very long road and Brittany was so glad that they were at this point. She was truly gonna miss Charice and her craziness that was for sure. She reached over to hug Dylan as well, chuckling lightly as Dylan started to tease Sam. She couldn't help but side eye Sam a little at the way he was acting. She sighed softly with a giggle before reaching over to pat his back softly "I think all those protein shakes you been drinking is starting to make you paranoid Sammy" she teased, Sitting next to Mercedes at the dinning room table.

Chris: jumped when he heard his name and ducked down as if Santana had shouted his name on a megaphone. “Shh,” he hissed, crouching over to her car. “What are you even doing here. No offense but Charice does not love party crashers.”

Santana: chuckled at Chris reaction and shook her head. "Why?" she asked knowing damn well the answer. But she just loved messing with Chris especially since technically he wasn't suppose to be here either. He had made it known that he hasn't forgiven Dylan and wasn't going to come to the party. So she instantly knew he was fighting wither he was actually gonna go or not. "Hmmm I should be asking you the same thing." she smirked as she tilted her head to the side. She leaned against against the door of her car nodding her head at his comment about partying crashing. "Yeah.. I know.. But it's not partying crashing when I have been invited.. " she shrugged "And no.. Charice didn't invite me.. Your ex bestie did." she said grabbing the invitation to show Chris. "I wasn't gonna come but..." she trailed off, looking at Charice house as everybody greeted each other. "this might be last chance to say I'm sorry.." she whispered softly, Shaking off her nervousness "Besides Unlike or father to be friend. I refuse to run away from this. Even if Charice kicks me out. Which I have a big feeling she will. At least I can say I tried" she said looking at Chris before speaking "So what about you? Decided to forgive Dylan yet?"

Charice: took her seat at the dining table and eyed Sam suspiciously as he rambled. “Okay what the hell is up with you? Why are you being so sus?” She asked with a small laugh.

Dylan: placed the big gift basket on the side table as the girls were getting on to Sam about how weird he was acting. He chuckled at Brittany's comment "Yeah I think Britt's right. You might wanna lay off on that Sam. It's not healthy if its the only thing you drink" he shrugged with a laugh. He glanced over at his brother expecting him to roll his eyes and start lecturing about he is living his healthy life. But all Sam did was just stand there. He looked nervous as hell and as if he rather run into glass window then to be there. He crossed his arms leaning against the wall with a sigh as Charice questions Sam. He shook his head before speaking "Alright Sam. What's up with you? First you don't call anymore. You fought with dad.. and now you're just acting plain weird. What's up?"

Sam: kept telling himself to stop being so panicky. that it wasn't some god aweful secret that he had to tell. In fact in his eyes it was a blessing to have a baby. And honestly he knew deep down that they would be happy for him. It was just telling them who the mother was that was gonna be a problem. Especially with Charice and Dylan who had made it loud and clear that they didn't really like her. At the thought of having to tell them that was making him more nervous. He wished Chris was here because he could have helped soften the blow a little. Every part of him wanted to run out the door and not stop until he was anywhere but here. But he needed to learn to face the music instead of running. He chuckled nervously at Mercedes and Brittany. But frowned when Charice and Dylan called him. "Wow chill Mom and Dad" he said sarcastically. "Rip it off like a band aid" he said to himself. Sam took a deep breath before locking eyes with his brother and sister in law because he knew if he locked eyes with Mercedes he would definitely run. Even though they weren't together anymore and agreed that they were better off as friends now. It still didn't make things any easier. He sighed as he started talking really fast "Alright.. I"m gonna be a father and Alyssa is the mother! and it happened on New Years Eve! And no we are not together! and NO I wasn't drinking! Don't yell at me!" he winced.

Mercedes: reached for her glass of water as Charice and Dylan questioned Sam. She could tell something was up especially since he was avoiding looking right at her but she figured he was just antsy about them moving. How wrong she was. She could’ve guessed he had a secret. She could’ve guessed anything in the realm of possibility. What she never would’ve guessed is that he’d gotten Alyssa pregnant and she never would’ve guessed that the minute he said it, a part of her broke. They had agreed long ago that friends was all that they could ever be and she was happy with Lexi. Beyond happy even. And her dream of her and Sam had long since been something she gave up on but it was like this was the final blow to that dream that maybe she hadn’t let go of fully enough. She swallowed, not finding words and took a slow sip of her water. What could she say? Congratulations didn’t feel right. Anger didn’t feel right either. But the tightness in her chest and the tiniest tinge of jealousy felt even more wrong. So she finished off her water and topped off her now empty cup with a full glass of of wine.

Brittany: leaned against her chair as Charice and Dylan started to pry Sam out of whatever it was that he was hiding from them. She honestly thought it wasn't a big deal and even went to kindly stand up for Sam. But before she could say anything Sam had told them that the was gonna be a dad and Alyssa was the mother. She sat there in shock trying to understand how they are just finding out and why Alyssa didn't tell her. Even though they haven't seen each other in months, they still talked alot over the phone. "Wow" was all she could say. she looked over to see Mercedes finishing up her water and then getting a full glass of wine. Brittany knew that things were over between Mercedes and Sam but it didn't mean that it didn't sting just a little. She placed her hand on Mercedes lap, letting her know that she was there for her, before looking up at a really nervous Sam. She really wanted to pry and ask more questions, but she already knew from the looks of things he was gonna get enough questions. And if she was honest she just wanted to be supportive like Sam as always been supportive of her. "Well that was totally unexpected.. But.." She sighed "you're not alone Sam.. It's obvious you're nervous about all of this. But don't worry. It's gonna be okay." said encouragingly, looking at Dylan's shocked face. "I hope.."

Chris: raised a brow in shock. “Dylan invited you? Maybe she will divorce him,” he half joked. He let out a long sigh and kicked at the ground. “Look I’m not saying I’m ready to forgive the guy. I’m still pissed but what if he dies on the plane over to Paris and I never got the chance to tell him how much I hate his guts?” He chuckled before growing serious. “I’m tired of being so mad… will you walk in with me?”

Santana: rolled her eyes before chuckling "Yes he did.. I Was really surprised.. He even apologized for being such a jerk to me and..." she smiled at the memory "It felt nice.. " She shrugged, turning off her engine so she could get out. She shut her car door to lean on it. She raising an eye brow at him before smirking "I get it..." she sighed. "And I'm not gonna sit here and tell you how to feel when it comes to Dylan... But I will say I am really proud of you for at least trying.. and I know it will mean a lot to Charice to see you.. " she smiled as she begin to walk, looping her arm with his "Lets go embrace them with our presences." she giggled leading them toward the house.

Charice: had perfect hearing. She always had, in fact it was something she prided herself on. She never asked priori repeat themselves because she always heard them the first time. But right now in this moment, she was sure she’d lost her ability to hear because she could’ve sworn she heard Sam say he’d impregnated hoelyssa of ALL people. But that couldn’t be right. Charice giggled and leaned back in her seat. “I know I didn’t just hear you right,” she laughed. When no one laughed with her and Mercedes looked like she was about to throw up and Brittany started to encourage him, she knew she’d heard right the first time. She laughed again, this time more dry and shook her head. “I know you didn’t just come into my going away party and tell me you bumped uglies with that she-beast and knocked her up,” she said standing up. “I know you didn’t just do that Sam. Tell me you didn’t just do that Sam!” She began to pace, heat rising in her chest. How could he be so stupid? Not only sleeping with Alyssa of all people but procreating with her? They weren’t kids anymore but here he was making childish mistakes. “Nah you gotta go before I snap,” she said walking over to the door and opening it. She went to gesture to the outside to send Sam out only to stop when she saw two familiar figures walking towards her home. “Oh HELL NO!”

Dylan: was expecting a lot of things to come out his mouth but the last thing he thought Sam would say is that he was gonna have a child! With Alyssa of all people “What the hell?” he said softly. Before Dylan could say anything to Sam, he started thinking about the conversation that he had with their dad. And how their dad was talking about how proud he was of Sam for being sober for over 3 years now and getting his life together. But he felt it was too soon. But Dylan couldn’t figure out what his dad was trying to say and everytime he asked. His dad would just tell him to talk to Sam or change the subject. Dylan wanted to be supportive like Brittany and tell Sam that everything was going to be okay and honestly he would have if Sam didn’t cut there dad off. He glanced over at his wife as she tried to calm herself before she went off on Sam. “Sooo that’s why you’re pissed off at DAD… That’s why Dad called me crying because you were pissed off at him! He said he was just trying to make sure that you were making the right choice!” he chuckled bitterly. “You’re mad because Dad didn’t jump up and down for joy when you told him!” He pointed his finger at his brother. “Sam I’m so pissed off at you! Like what the hell MAN!” said glaring at Sam "Sam you have only been sober for 3 damn years. You are JUST now getting to a place where you can get around alcohol and not flinch! You are just now able to fully take care of yourself without one of us making sure you're in a good headspace to not relapse! The last thing you need right now is a damn child! And not only that! Every time things get to be too much you RUN! Just like now! You were literally about to run out the door! Because things were getting tense for you! That’s basically what dad was trying to get through that little fucking pea brain of yours!” he yelled seeing the hurt in Sam’s eyes. Don’t get him wrong, he loved his brother, and he thinks his brother is gonna be a damn good dad. But Sam had a bad habit of always running when things began to be too much. He took a deep breath and released it slowly “Listen Sam When you’re a parent. There are no off days. There is NO vacation! Sure you can get a nanny… But what happens when all that kid wants is YOU?!And Only YOU?! You can’t put that child to the side and ignore them like you do most of your problems Sam! That’s what Did was trying to tell you! Having a child is a lot of responsibility!” he sighed, shaking his head “Listen I’m not mad that you're gonna be a dad and the mother is Alyssa.. Well I am a little mad that you chose the queen of hell to be the mother. But hey what can we do.” he said clearing his throat when Sam glared at him and Charice started pacing back and forth “Anyways.. I’m mad that you literally cut dad off because he was being concerned for not only you but for the baby. This isn’t something you planned. In fact you said you didn’t want to be a father at all. Which is why Dad kept asking you if this is what you wanted.” said softly as his anger went down some. He heard Charice telling Sam to leaver “Cherry this can be talked out… we can’t j-” he tried to say before seeing Chris and Santana coming out. “OH fuck me! I’m in trouble.” he groaned, stepping in front of Charice with a nervous smile “Hey San! Glad you could make it” he said honestly.

Sam: glanced over to see that Mercedes was literally just sitting there without saying a word. She honestly didn’t have to. He kind of already had a feeling what she could be thinking about but before he could address anything else, Brittany spoke up giving him encouragement. “Thinks Tinkerbell” he said softly before looking over at his now pissed off Sister in law and Brother. “It seriously just happened.. And Alyssa is a good person Charice you just gotta give her a chance.” he tried to say but he knew Charice wasn’t trying to hear it. Sam leaned against the wall as Dylan started to lay into him about their dad. “You mean your dad” he muttered like a stubborn child. He knew that Dylan was right about Richard just checking in with him making sure this is what he truly wanted and was ready for. But he was just tired of everyone throwing his past mistakes in his face and questioning his sanity all because he decided that wanted to be a child. He wanted to speak but he couldn’t. He knew Dylan was pissed off at him and the last thing he was gonna do was make him even madder than he already was. He crossed his arms getting ready to argue back with his brother when it was mentioned how he always runs away from his problems but before he could even get a word in Charice basically kicked him out “Troubles.. Just let me explain myself please” he sighed looking out to see Chris and Santana coming up the side walk together. “Yayyy more drama!” he groaned. He glanced over at Brittany and Mercedes and sadly smile "I'm sorry.. I wasn't trying to ruin this little get together.. I'll see you guys later. I'm not wanted here anymore.." he shrugged getting ready to leave.

Mercedes: was overwhelmed to say the least. First Sam dropped this huge bomb on them about being a father and then as soon as Charice opened the door, it was like another bomb dropped with Santana and Chris showing up. “I need more wine,” she said standing and walking over to the kitchen.

Brittany couldn't help but feel bad for Sam as Dylan continue to lay into him and Charice telling him to get out. She could tell this isn't how he wanted things to go. Even though she doesn't blame anyone for their reaction. But it still mad her feel bad for Sam. Having a baby is suppose to be a happy moment in peoples life especially telling everyone about it. But this wasn't the case for Sam. She sadly watched Mercedes go get some more wine before getting up to walk toward Sam, giving him an encouraging smile. "Sam." she trailed off as Sam was getting ready to leave. She was gonna tell him to call her later so they could talk more and also let him know that she was gonna be there for him no matter what. But before she could say it, she looked to see Chris and Santana arms linked together as they walked up to the side walk toward the house. Her body tensed up and she tried to not let her emotion show that she was irritated by the sight of Santana even near Chris.

Chris had no idea what he'd just walked in on but it was obvious that everyone was upset. Sam was rushing to leave, Charice and Dylan looked like they were both about to explode, Mercedes was chugging a glass of whine like it was water and Brittany was glaring at them as if they'd been caught red handed. "Uh," he said, looking around. "What did we miss?"

Santana quickly frowned when she noticed that their was tension already in the room. "Are you guys good" she asked already knowing the damn question. She looked at each of her friends faces and the one that she could stop looking at was Sam. He looked really upset and was trying to get the hell out of there fast. "S-Sam wait?! What's wrong?" she asked him letting go of Chris' arm to try to stop Sam from leaving.

Charice didn’t want the night to end with her cussing someone out but after Sam’s bombshell and Santana just popping up arm and arm with Chris, it seemed she had reached her limit. “No offense but what are you doing here?” She asked Santana. “You weren’t invited.”

Dylan was so disappointed and annoyed with his little brother that he couldn't see straight. He knew he was being unreasonable and he hated to see that his brother was upset. But he couldn't get passed the fact that his brother did this irresponsible thing and on top of everything else Sam was mad at his dad for actually worrying about him. Which was about to continue to explain that to Sam but with Santana being here he already knew he was gonna be the next person to be in trouble. He shook his head when Chris and Santana asked what was going on and took a deep breath "Trust me you don't wanna know.." he said out loud glancing over at Mercedes who looked like she rather be anywhere but here. He could see that his wife was already at her limits with everything and before she went off on Santana next he had to own up to what he did. he watched his brother attempt to leave along with Brittany as he walked toward his wife "Um babe..." he said softly placing his hand on her back "I-I invited her.." he admitted "I know you said not too.. but listen you guys have been friends for too long to just walk away from each other..." he said seeing that Charice was about to say something "AND I know she hurt you.. But hell so have I but here we are... people deserve second chances Cherry... She has been such a good friend to you till that moment... don't let all of the good times you had go over on bad argument.." he shrugged " beside... I-I think you should really hear her out Santana out.. " he reasoned.

Sam was over this at this point. He was ready to go. “Tinkerbell um can you let me out. So I can go check on Alyssa? We have to get the baby room ready.” he said softly. He didn’t even look at anyone else. He didn’t want to see anymore of the disappointment or the anger in each person's eyes. He was tired of being yelled at and honestly he was heartbroken that his so-called family couldn’t at least hear him out or at least be supportive of him. He felt Santana tug on his arm and gently got out of her grasp “I told them about the baby.” he said sadly. “So I’m sure you can guess how they reacted..” he sighed. “I gotta go.” he said walking away from the group. Sam understood what he did was irresponsible but it wasn’t like he was the only one that ever made a mistake. In fact every time someone made a mistake he always tried to be supportive and he always tried to see their side of things even when he didn’t necessarily agree with it. And the more he thought about it the more he was getting pissed off. He walked halfway to the car hearing Brittany walking behind him. He stopped in his tracks to turn around to go back to the group “hold on tinker bell” he said as he quickly walked toward them “you know what I am so sick and tired of this bullshit!!” He shouted, not caring how loud he was being “I’m not asking you guys to like Alyssa! Honestly I don’t give two FUCKS about the 20 year old childish hatred you have for her! All I wanted” he sighed sadly trying his best not to get too upset “No! All I NEEDED is support!! FUCKING SUPPORT! That’s all I ask!! I’m having a child! And despite the fact that it was a mistake! I’m very happy about it!! All I’m asking is for my family to be happy for me! I’m gonna be a dad! I never in my life thought I would ever be one! I-I’m scared guys! I’m so fucking scared that I’m gonna be like my father and fuck this kid up! And all I want is for my family to tell me it’s gonna be okay! And that I’m not alone! You know?! Like I do for each and every single one of you when you all fuck up! Thank you for not being there for me when I needed you the most” he said looking directly at Charice. Sure he was upset with his brother too. But it hurt him most that he couldn’t get support from someone that he saw as a big sister. He looked over at Mercedes who was drinking her wine and honestly he wasn’t mad at her. He knew this would make her feel some kind of way and he didn’t blame her for not saying anything. He just wished Charice and Dylan would at least put their dislike of Alyssa and just try to be there for him. But from the anger and looks on their faces, he knew it wasn’t gonna happen. Sam took a deep breath shaking his head before turning to Santana and Chris “thank you.. for everything. Chris I know you’re not the biggest fan of Alyssa but your support means the world to me.. I’m sorry… that I fucked up again. I love you both” he said, giving Chris a side hug before kissing Santana on the cheek. He took one last look at his brother and wife “I have a safe flight Mr. And Mrs Young'' he said sadly before turning to leave again “come on tinkerbell” he whispered quietly walking toward his car wrapping his arm around Brittany “thank you too! I know I should have told you one on one. But I was scared. Thank you for having my back as always.” He said kissing her on the cheek before finally getting into his car.

Mercedes didn’t expect Sam to snap on everyone but when he did, she understood why. She of all people was shocked by his news but she expected a better reaction than this. Granted, she felt like she’d emotionally shut down but Charice and Dylan had always been on Sam’s side and to see them react like this was breaking her heart. She placed her empty glass down and watched as everyone processed what Sam had said after he’d stormed off. She cleared her throat and began to grab her things. “I should go too,” she whispered, giving Charice and Dylan a small frown. She knew this wasn’t the way they wanted to wrap things up with everyone but it was sadly how things went. “Text me okay?” She went to walk past Santana and Chris and smiled. “I’m glad you came. Both of you.”
