I'm back!
Sorry, guys. Didn't have wifi for about a week so this post is long overdo. Good week in baseball. We had great games and the Hall of Fame inductions. I'm really happy with the HOF elections this year. I have been fortunate enough to see all three of those manager and all three players. I even got to see Bobby Cox get ejected! Congrats to all of those guys. Very well deserved.
Last night, I got to pay my respects to Mr. Padre, Tony Gwynn.
American League All-Star Mike Trout #27 of the Los Angeles Angels poses with the MVP trophy after a 5-3 victory over the National League All-Stars during the 85th MLB All-Star Game
About the Blogger
My name is Brian and I am 21 years old. I go to a private university in Orange County and currently work for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim as an event staff sweeper. I hope to one day work my way up to the front office. The Angels are my favorite baseball team, but with this blog, I will try and be as unbiased as possible!
2 1/2 Months of Emotion
The second half of baseball is underway tomorrow. It kicks off with the trade deadline in just about two weeks. In my opinion, the trade deadline, the dog days of August and the month of September are the most exciting months of the season(Other than October). We have big names up for trade like David Price, Matt Kemp, Jake Peavy, and Jonathan Papelbon. It will be fun to see which contenders will land those guys! And after the trade deadline, the division races will heat up. Every division is up for grabs right now, so it will make for some exciting baseball. No division leader seems to be running away with it.
I'm kicking off tomorrow by going to a San Diego Padres game. Yes, I know, the Padres aren't that good, but they are the closest MLB team to me, besides the Angels.
New Baseball Blog
Hey everyone! As someone majoring in journalism, I thought it would be a good start to write a blog. And what better topic is there to write about, other than baseball? I've been in love with the game my entire life, and I have been wanting to start a blog for some time now. And it is only fitting to start one the day before the second half. So, I hope my new followers like the blog. Feel free to give me feedback! Hopefully, this blog is successful.
