Got stuck in the heavy rain. Thank God when I arrived in Ulas, I was able to hail this trike the driver aptly called "WATAS." Hahah. I reached home in no time but got my shoes and bag all drenched. Worried about getting my cellphone as well as my Parokya/Hale/Nairud/Lost Tribe tickets courtesy of the micro kids Pat and Julie get wet. At that moment, water was rising up to my ankle already. Thirty minutes later, I went out to the dirty kitchen to get something and whoa! water was slowly inching its way up to the flooring of the kitchen floor. I immediately called Daddey to alert if this is something that needs his superman-esque power. Poor Daddey had to wake up because her "doughtah" was in semi-panic button mode. What he did was braved through the murky waters and took all the floating slippers while I, on the other hand, like a silly chameleon, mimicked what he was doing. Thing is, you just had to do something about a certain scenario like this. Got to use my lifeline because there are three little earthlings depending on me. No. I can not lose it. For it has always been inside me all along. Being in a situation such as this -- when torrential rains and thunderstorms try to get the better of me, the maternal instinct in me just flows and I metamorphose as a Supermom outbraving all superheroes. - "Lady Gagai"
