dusk and dawn (bromantic version)
Synopsis: A local thug leader named Vaas doesn’t get along with his sister, Citra, since she tries to bring commercial tourism to their peaceful but underdeveloped islands. He then tries to sabotage her business. The locals seperate into two groups; those who support Vaas who wants to keep the tourists and foreigners away from their sacred homeland and those who support Citra who wants to bring a new solution to her poor homeland.
The conflicts are getting worse day by day. Then comes along Jason, a SoCal daredevil who visits Rook Islands as part of an extreme trip with his friends before getting married with his girlfriend Lisa. After exchange their fists when they first met. Vaas and Jason start developing an unlikely bond during their community service around the islands for blowing up a bar. The bond that quickly turns into something else, something they never thought could happen, something they’ll never admit no matter how strong it is.
They need to decide, before sunset, before Jason has to leave, from Rook Island, from Vaas, forever.
Perspective is everything.
