Hi all, so sorry to make another post so soon but my family and I have been going through it these last few days. For those who don't know me, my name is Link and I am a 24 y/o artist. Long story short, my father and I have been homeless since Nov. 2021 and we're in a shelter for a bit but recently we got kicked out without much reason and left without anywhere to live. So it's back to living in the motel for us. Since my father has a heart condition and a lot of health issues and the lack of transportation and help, we don't have a way to keep up a stable job at the moment.
So, for the most part it's mainly me and my art that is paying for the rent and of course, those who are so generous and kind to donate to us when they can :") right now, we're struggling a lot more than usual. For reference, the daily rent is 57$ and we were off at first paying for three days. We almost could afford it but ended up having to pay for what we could. Since yesterday, we haven't been able to get any help and even less attention when it comes to posts. We now owe 145$ to cover for the last couple days and if we can't pay today, we'll have to leave. Since we have nowhere to go, we'll end up on the street. I'm hoping to find any kind of help because I honestly am not sure what else to do. This is our last resort.
