Jingles character portrait from @goblinwithgame, colored by @puppycarnage3, Jingles was created by @lxcke "Jingles is a man trapped inside a role he never chose. Everything about him exists because something else decided it should. His body is stolen. His purpose was assigned. His reputation was built for him. Even the violence he commits is often not his own decision. Unlike Tyrant who believes people should impose their will on the world, Jingles exists as proof of what happens when someone never gets the chance. At his core Jingles is a person desperately trying to figure out where the puppet ends and the person begins." - @lxcke
I unironically fucking loathe drawing her mask. -Anton
Tyrant and his daughter, Veil by @kims-asylum for Blessed be the wicked
"Veil genuinely loves Tyrant as a father. He was the first person who made her feel wanted without demanding she become something else first. That matters enormously to her, unlike many Heralds Veil does not spend her time trying to prove herself to him. She assumes she already belongs. That confidence makes their relationship unusually stable. Tyrant finds her comforting for similar reasons. She never asks him to be anything other than what he is. As his condition worsens, Veil becomes increasingly protective because she does not want to lose another parent." - The Writing Team

Pike participating in Gilts punishment by @puppycarnage3
"Gilt proves Tyrant cannot live up to his own teachings. She got special treatment, more affection, more focus, more second chances. Instead of building strength Tyrant accidentally built dependency. She was never meant to be a Herald, never meant to belong. But the lies Tyrant filled her head with set expectations he refused to meet.
Gilt shows the difference between what Tyrant says and what he actually does. She is also the emotional center of the whole conflict with the Heralds. Most of them disagree with Tyrant on ideas. Gilt disagrees with him on a personal level." - The Writing Team

Roadkill sketches from @kims-asylum
"By the end, Adeline no longer sees Tyrant as something to follow. She sees him as something that must be corrected. Not out of anger. Not out of betrayal. But out of alignment with the very philosophy he gave her. If strength is proven through adaptation, if survival requires evolution, then Tyrant, as he is is failing. And failure, in his own terms, is not something that should be preserved. Adeline ends the season believing Tyrant is not beyond saving, but he cannot continue as he is. So she does what he taught her to do. She acts.
Adeline begins the story seeing Tyrant as the man who made her strong, and ends it recognizing that to honor that strength, she may have to become the one who decides what he becomes next." - The Writing Team

Alice and Isaac Wight concept art from @puppycarnage3
"-the rest of Isaac's existence is spent chasing that wound. When he becomes Zalgo, Alice stops being a person entirely. She becomes the missing piece of reality. The thing he is trying to rebuild. The thing he is trying to find. The thing he believes will finally make existence feel complete again. Every Alice he encounters across infinite Earths gets measured against the original. Every failure deepens the obsession. Meanwhile Alice herself becomes almost mythological as she represents the one thing Isaac can never have because the Alice he wants never actually existed. The real Alice was complicated. Scared. Conflicted. Capable of terrible decisions. Capable of loving him and resenting him at the same time. The Alice Isaac mourns is a reconstruction. The entire tragedy of the story and arguably the setting itself comes from one fact.
Alice died trying to stop Isaac. And Isaac spent eternity proving her right." -@puppycarnage3

Northstar concept art from @goblinwithgame
"Northstar is the clear leader of Zalgo's Legion. After her violent rise she cut the weak out of the Wight bloodline without a second thought and left only the strongest and most monstrous ones alive. She rules what is left with iron fisted control and the Zalgoids who still follow her do it out of fear. She is the strongest among them, her sonic scream alone can wreck most living things and even mess up the Tall Man’s physical form for a period. That strength and her total intolerance for weakness means no one questions her. The Legion members left are few but they are all extremely dangerous and every single one knows that crossing Northstar means death." - The Writing Team
