I come up with and find the worst possible Deltarune theories.

I see that posts have not been posted on this blog for a while, so I hope that it’s not too late to submit an absolutely revolutionary thing I found.

The angel is Ponman.

The middle of the logo of the Delta Rune is a circle. This circle is meant to represent Ponman's head. If you look at the sprite of Ponman walking, you can also see that the small area between the legs form a triangle, this is the middle triangle on the Delta Rune, while the legs are the two side ones. The ‘wings’ on the symbol are actually the little arch thingy that Ponman has on top of its head

Now you may be asking: “What about Noelle? Was all her angel symbolism just a red herring?” And well dear reader, that is a fair question. Fortunately, I have the answer to this too.

She is just foreshadowing for the real and true Angel. Think of the Weird Route, what is she there, if not a pawn. And you know who else is a pawn? Ponman.

Still not convinced? Well there’s even more foreshadowing. One of the ACTs towards Ponman and a way to spare it is having Ralsei sing a lullaby. What motif does this lullaby contain? The Legend. And what is the Angel tied to if not the Legend.

The element that Ponman has is Order. Order is very much tied to the prophecy, and it dislikes moving backwards. You know what else is against moving backwards? The thing which has guided us on the story of Deltarune? The prophecy, once more.

And finally, Ponman likes sleeping. Dark world are heavily tied with symbolism of dreams. The prophecy states that we'll banish the Angel's heaven. If sleeping is the thing it likes enough to be stated in the recruit menu, then could not one say that for Ponman, sleeping is heaven? And to banish sleeping means to also banish dreams, as such, banishing the Angel's heaven means to destroy the dark worlds, which is a theory that has been floating around even before this big revelation. See? It all lines up.

They even have the word “man” in them which ties them to the Forgotten Man who is the SOUL (See: My previous theory sent to this blog for the evidence for this)

The entire game is one big prank on the SOUL.

Summoning a Titan wasn't part of the prank. Pizzapants (who was wearing the Roaring Knight armor for that specific scene in Chapter 4), just forgot how he was supposed to respond to Susie's accusation and panicked.

As a result, he is no longer allowed to be the Roaring Knight.

The Roaring Knight isn't actually trying to start the roaring.

The original plan in Chapter 3 was to set-up a surprise birthday party for Undyne with Kris', Toriel's, and Tenna's help, but then the Roaring Knight tripped and sliced off Tenna's arms off and then the Knight decided to try and pretend it MEANT to do that so it wouldn't look like a klutz, and then kidnapped Undyne so it wouldn't go to jail.

Now, however, it's an attempted murderer and kidnapper who assaulted three minors, so it REALLY can't let Undyne go or allow the Delta Warriors into the bunker, so it made the Dark Sanctuaries as a distraction, only for them to catch up with it while it was trying to find a way to get itself out of this mess, and so it summoned a Titan to stall for time. Meaning it's now also facing terrorism charges on top of everything else.

(To add insult to injury, it wasn't even Undyne's birthday.)

We know that Toby Fox loves puns so what if The Man Behind the Tree is actually The Man Behind the Three, meaning that he is behind the three Delta Warriors, and he is who Kris feels hovering behind their head during the Roaring Knight fight.

Delta obviously has the value of 4 also, which doesn’t make sense since it’s 3 Delta Warriors, so this solves that too, since The Man Behind the Tree becomes the fourth one.

And now, who else is often behind the delta warriors in the game? Well us, the player, as we’re sitting behind a screen and the delta warriors are often facing ‘up’ aka away from us

So canonically the Man Behind the Tree is the one controlling the SOUL.

BUT it doesn’t end there. This also explains why the man is forgotten, because not a lot of the characters know about the SOUL controlling Kris, and what is being forgotten if not just not being known about?

And finally, for the final part of this theory, that solidifies EVERYTHING: You may ask, how does this make sense with the forgotten man talking about harvesting the wheat and selling donuts and stuff?

Well, obviously the forgotten man is just one person while there are a lot of players, so what Toby did is he stalked one specific Deltarune fan's routines and wrote them down specifically, and that person specifically is canon to Deltarune and is the player

And now only to figure out exactly who this person is, and while I unfortunately haven’t managed to figure out exactly yet, I’ve still managed to rule out quite a large but of the population of earth, as we know it’s a man.
