My music (none currently uploaded, but it's on Newgrounds)
My miscellaneous ramblings
For those who don't mind (or enjoy) a bit of saucy NSFW content I have a Bluesky and a Newgrounds, though I don't post there often.
For those of a more fandom-y inclination, I have an Ao3 where I put my silly little fanfics, and an alt account here for where I indulge completely in my silly hyperfixations. If I end up writing anything fandom-y you'll probably hear about it there.
Some NVFAQ (not very frequently asked questions) under the cut
What's your gender/what are your pronouns?
I identify as agender, and prefer they/them almost exclusively. There might be some changes in the future, we'll see.
What do you use to draw/make music?
For a while I used Clip Studio Paint, mostly for the in-built 3d model poser, but I've recently taken to using Paint Tool Sai 2 and Design Doll.
Music is all done in FL Studio with only a rudimentary understanding of how it all works and any form of how music actually works.
Who drew your icon?
That would be Mr Culexus, found here (tumblr), here (dA) and here (bluesky).
What happened to the other twelve badgers?
I actually get asked this a weirdly high amount, relatively speaking. But to answer: the other twelve badgers are the ones who are working in tandem with the thirteenth to move this meat vessel we call a body. The position of thirteenth badger is an honoured one as they determine the hivemind's mindset and are the only one granted permission to speak.
(In all actuality, I just like badgers, I pulled the name from this old gem, and I'm a fan of the Skaven from Warhammer, who have an unhealthy obsession with the number 13.)
What do you think of <current issue>?
If my reblogs don't make it clear, in general you can assume I take the stance which involves the least amount of human suffering, with a broad attitude of pro-LGBTQ+, pro-human rights, anti-racism and anti-colonialism. If my reblogs don't cover any particular issue, then please don't take that as a sign I don't care about it.
Trans rights or I trans fights. Black lives matter. Free Palestine. I'm with Ukraine. Women deserve equal rights. Fascists and nazis can fuck right off. If you are working to make things worse for other people, or doing so through inaction not caused by external factors, I'll probably not like you.
I am a gender abolitionist and I think even if my wishes were realized and we got a world without gender people would still want to transition, they would just describe the process differently.
"I want to have soft skin and boobs" rather than "I want to be a cute girl", for example.
This is what TERFs, who only pretend to be gender abolitionists for optics while going out of their way to enforce gender, don't seem to get.
They pretend that if there were no gender roles no one would transition and trans people would cease to exist.
What's more accurate is that "trans" as a category would become incoherent but people would still have preferences about their bodies and would benefit from modifying them in ways that our current world considers to be heavily gendered.
Personally, I think it would be all upsides if you did not even have to convince a medical gatekeeper that you are really a girl deep down and grew up playing with dolls and trying to wear makeup before you're allowed to have tits. You should be able to get those at your local pharmacy no questions asked.
it's amazing how when i'm an active agent in my life good things happen and i feel capable and confident in myself and when i just passively let life happen to me terrible things happen and i am miserable. surely no one else has ever noticed this tendency
Drew one of @misterculexus' characters, Alice Boone (featured on @asktheraggededges and in the appropriately-named Boonequest), in a warmup sketch that I liked so much it kind of got away from me.
Also a bit of a style test and a way of getting myself to remember how I actually draw things again. I think I'm starting to get a sense of individual style, but we'll see.
Now that I finally have an area I can draw in privacy in, I might end up doing more art in some form or another. This may (MAY) be the start of a brave new era of Badger Art. No guarantees since life can get in the way sometimes, but it was nice to draw something that wasn't for a big project.

i hate ~professional phonecalls in full generality but like, listen. i understand being on hold for a zillion years. i know places are shortstaffed. i get it. however i think i should not have to navigate more than 1 phone tree submenu in order to get to the point of being on hold. i was going to compare this to a labyrinth but i think that would be more fun and less stressful honestly. yes even with a minotaur
i'm so sick of content about autistic people so clearly being 100% geared at allistic people with no consideration for autistic people whatsoever. i was in a bookstore and picked up a biography about an autistic woman and the blurb on the back said like "[autistic woman] experiences the world in a way that's incomprehensible to the rest of us." well it's not incomprehensible to me, an autistic person. who is "us?" rhetorical question bc I know the answer: "us" means "non autistic people" aka the people who will read this book blurb. meaning apparently whatever editor/publicist wrote the blurb didn't expect an autistic person to? what?? read? idk man
autistic people are perpetually categorized as something to be observed, to be analyzed, to be studied, categorized, written about, portrayed, examined, explained, and we are never expected to be introspective or observant or to speak for ourselves and for each other and if we do people don't want to hear it. people desperately want to hear someone else explain what it's like to be us instead listening to us
online i see content by "autism moms" all the time, aka non autistic mothers of autistic children, and they're asking advice on meeting their children's needs, and the comments will be filled with other "autism moms" and the OP will be liking those comments and responding. but you know which comments never get likes or responses? comments by autistic adults! i've even been blocked by autism moms for commenting my advice as an autistic adult.
non autistic people don't want us to grow up and they don't want us to have autonomy and they don't want us to have opinions about ourselves or each other.
