When I first watched this my heart felt like it was getting ripped out of my chest, seriously. Shikamaru was trying so hard to be strong, to push away his overwhelming feelings, and his dad knew exactly what to do to get him to express them, and how to do it. Shikamaru NEEDED someone to push him over the edge and Shikaku did just that. A few simple words, that bit of support, and Shikamaru lost it. He was HURTING SO BADLY and his DAD was SOOO THERE FOR HIM and I LOVE THEM SO MUCH
