if she could turn away from him, she would. but seen as her entire body was borderline paralysed for now, that didn’t seem to be an option.

The much taller male lingers by her doorway, glancing away because she looks like she’s in bad shape. He’s embarrassed to have bothered her at all – she must think him an idiot. But he pulls himself together, crutches and all. “I’ll just…I’ll just go now.”

she cracks a smile. barely. it’s more of a pained grin, eyes fluttering closed. she can’t really move all that much, so she’s not going to try to. no, that’d just cause more pain. but she was getting pretty lonely in here by herself, unable to go anywhere or do anything. it was becoming rather tiresome.

she’d be out for a LONG WHILE, taking up residence in this hospital until she was ‘well enough to leave’, which she doubted would be any time soon. however, she wasn’t exactly expecting company. so on seeing the other entering her hospital room, she didn’t make much effort to move.
