â Good! Okay, open wide. Â Close your eyes. Â Secret recipe.â
âWell⊠You know if you just get a hold of anotherâs dog  without many really knowing, that usually is the normal reaction. At least they cared enough about the owner and her dogâŠ. What made you do something like that?â
 âI speak dog--
Chester himself told me, âbark, I am very bored, bark, this old lady just sleeps, bark, please, kind sir, take me out on a walk.  Bark.â
Let Me Be Brave As My Story Ends, The Doctor And Clara Oswald.
Clara was standing just outside the house, oh how she hesitated, it was her and The Doctor, the one she loved more then she would dare admit, in her eyes, he was her Doctor. She knew that the Williams had been with him before her, but he was her first Doctor, the one she first traveled with, the first one to open her to the universe. She had looked back at him quickly..âThink of me now and again.ââŠshe whispered. She pressed her lips together..âI will be one of those stars you look at every night.ââŠshe said softly. Her eyes were filled with tears, her hands were resting at her sides, she swallowed hard..âCanât Rescue me this time, Chin Boy.ââŠshe felt her voice crackâŠâBut oh how you showed me the stars.ââŠshe tapped her fingers against the door frame gently. She stepped outside fully after a moment..âLet me be brave.ââŠshe whispered to herself as she walked to her impending death. She stood perfectly still right in the middle of the street, she had looked seeing some people come running past her.
She rubbed her hands together several times feeling her heart pounding against her chest..âLet me be brave.ââŠshe whispered once again. She had held her arms out straight while watching the Raven fly right towards her. She felt her back arch as the Raven came into contact with her body, her eyes were wide opened. She felt the claws of the Raven wrap around her rapidly beating heart which caused her to scream out in pain, her eyes were filled with tears as she struggled against The Raven, that was natural in her to fight as hard as she could even when she shouldnât of been fighting. She felt her body eventually grow limp, her face went still as black smoke eventually emitted from her body as she fell to the ground, she literally died right where she stood.
Her eyes were still opened while she laid in the street, The Raven eventually crawled out of her body, she truly was the impossible girl, her eyes rapidly darted around after several moments, the Raven was unable to kill her. She rolled onto her side and started gasping for air, her eyes closed tightly as she coughed violently. Her legs curled up tightly to her chest, the Chronolock on her neck vanished before she had hit the ground, she was the one who bravely faced the Raven and survived, further proving that she was impossible in every sense of the word, she wasnât supposed to survive and yet that was exactly what happened. @xchinboy
He couldnât believe himself.
Even if Clara never asked, there is one promise he always makes to himself--to keep his companions safe. Â He would endure torture, walking through burning hot coal, being stretched until heâd break, being beaten until reaching critical condition--anything, just to keep his companions safe. Â After all, they were the only thing that kept him sane.
Especially Clara. Â Sweet, short, bossy, impossible Clara. Â Clara who has baked more than a thousand souffleâs, Clara who sways around the TARDIS console as she coos his name. Â Clara who occasionally hides his bowties around the TARDIS, Clara who stops him whenever heâs about to do something incredibly stupid. Â Just Clara. Â Clara Oswald, the girl who makes him whole.
They were on an adventure like any other, aliens, running, almost dying, the whole routine. Â Heâs always been convinced that heâll get out of any trouble that presents itself, or if heâs given a choice--leave himself suffering, but save his friends.
But when Clara lifted her dark hair to expose her neck, and he saw that bloody tattoo counting down, mocking him, he felt all the possible anger, agony, and pain rise up from his chest to his head. Blurring his vision, beating his hearts against his ears, clenching his fists so tight they turn whiter than Alice in Wonderlandâs own rabbit. This time, he couldnât save her. Â There was no way at all. Â All the alternatives were nonexistent. Â She was gone. Â Laying on the floor, her lifeless, cold body staring up at the London night sky. Â He couldâve sworn there hasnât been a worse pain.
He turns his back to her, covering his eyes with his hands as he chucks down deep breaths of freezing air, drying his throat as his eyes welled up until--
 âClara?â
âWhy? Itâs mine too!â
âNot yet!  I did.  And I am further down our timeline, so until you get here, itâs mine.â
Her hand in his, she let her eyes wander to the edge of the cliff as he spoke. âAnd youâre a thousand percent sure we wonât hit anything?â
âAmelia Pond, if there is one thing about me that is crucial information...is that Iâm never sure about anything. Â But, I do know this, whatever happens, whatever fait awaits us, I will protect you.â
official-kissogram:
âShut up. âCourse I trust you. Just jumping off a cliff into a police box doesnât sound too appealingâŠâ
âAmelia...â he says, his voice gentle, his hand soft and warm on hers, as the other reaches up to her cheek. Â Reassuring her.Â
âI would never, ever, willingly put you in danger.  I promise.â
â --Do you trust me, then? â
 â You--
Take that bowtie off right this instant.
 Give. It. â
within-last-heartbeats:
âDaily cardio? Sure. So, in case we do have to ârunâ, what are you actually doing? Hopefully it wonât make someone mad like the last time.â
â Mad? Oh, I surely hope not.  You humans get angered really easily.  I once got yelled at for walking another womanâs dog, I was just walking him, not stealing him!  It is very concerning. â
adventureismyname:
âWhat did you expect? It is Christmas here. Â Iâd be more concerned with them?â She pointed out to some rather shady Santaâs playing musical instruments in the market. There was just something rather odd about them.Â
â Those fellas?â He said, frowning. â They seem familiar...I donât know, they look harmless.  Theyâre literally a Santa Claus marching band. â
â Câmon, thereâs no Christmas tree in the TARDIS and that sale looks really wonderful. â
within-last-heartbeats:
âGotcha! Haha. But, if it helps, you usually fix it back⊠just in time, right?âÂ
â Fix or--you know, run really, very fast. Â Whichever works. â
â Listen to me, this is very important, in fact, itâs a matter of life and death--
There are Christmas trees for sale. â
within-last-heartbeats:
âWouldnât the better question be⊠Did any of those times when you didnât know what you were doing ended well, Doctor?â
â Well--I--I mean, there was this one time--no, but that ended in a big fire and a giant chicken egg--
 Oh, shut up. â
âIâIâm pregnant.â
 âY--
   Youâre what?â
âNo, frankly, no Iâve absolutely no idea what it is Iâm doing.Â
  Why, is that important?â
badlucksong:
D A D.
if she could turn away from him, she would. but seen as her entire body was borderline paralysed for now, that didnât seem to be an option.Â
â why ? so you can feel better about yourself ? â
âOh, we both know thatâs impossible.â
He says, slowly walking towards her and placing the flowers by the bed.
He pulls up a chair and sits next to her, rubbing his hands.
âHow did this happen?â
canspotatimeagent:
The captain rolled his eyes at the gesture, following him towards the console. âDoctor, you and I both know the one thing you shouldnât be is alone.âÂ
âOh, please, Jack. Â Iâm fine, Iâm always fine,â he says, brushing his glasses up his nose.
 âHave to be.â
