lietger the kind of ship where they're not in a relationship but one time they're at the office after hours together and Tolys jokingly calls Lutz his "work wife" and Lutz immediately gets so hard he snaps a pen clean in two and they have to spend the next half an hour desperately cleaning up the ink and profusely apologising to each other the entire time.

lots of coffee dates and camping trips with the dogs in tow, Lutz is strong and practical but Tolys knows the forest better. in the tent they've set up (Ludwig has had quite enough of sleeping in foxholes, thank you very much) it's cozy and they mostly enjoy each other's presence and the sound of breathing.

Tolys rolls over. he's not as tall as Ludwig so it lets him headbutt his way beneath his chin. says he had a good time hiking out here, that he likes hanging out with him. calls Ludwig a good boy. and, really. that's all that they're really about, when you boil it down.
