Having some thoughts about my Sith Warrior and his Jedi Knight brother.
My favorite thing about making my Jedi Knight Kade'n and Sith Warrior Vex'ikale siblings who resemble one another a lot is that it muddies the water where Scourge's vision of the person who'd defeat the Emperor is concerned.
Scourge sees Kade'n and is like 'ah yes, this is the face I saw in my visions' and assumes he's the one who is going to kill the Emperor (and he does, kind of). So, Scourge helps Kade'n escape the Emperor's clutches all the while assuming he's making the right decisions to ensure the future he wants.
But Vex'ikale is the one who finally truly kills the Emperor.
Like we know force visions are never explicitly clear, and Vex and Kade look enough alike that Scourge could be forgiven for mistaking the two.
But Scourge leaving with Kade'n left the opening of the position of Wrath for Vex'ikale to fill, gave him the means to have revenge on Baras. Put him in the position that would eventually bring the brothers together and push Vex to his eventual destiny of being the Outlander, Commander of the Alliance, yada, yada.
So, then the question becomes did Scourge mistake the two brothers or did the force actually show him Kade'n as a way to get them all where they needed to be?
It's an interesting thought, and I kind of want to write something about it.
