@badwolf2005
Am I the only one that doesn't ship rose/nine? I Just don't see the chemistry there.
sorry anon, in my opinion their chemistry is sizzling
look at those fucking bedroom eyes right there
and their handsssssssssss
and their hugs
and the way she smiles at him
and how upset she is when he first regenerates
^ and that scene asdklaskfl;skg
and his jealousyyyy
and how she calls him on it
fuck just that scene in general omfg they are nearly suffocating on their own pheromones (and they don’t even notice when jack transports them to his ship)
and then ^ that scene asmflfas;gf;sdlg;sdg;dh;dfh’dh no words
i will leave it there with some wise words from Chris:
they don’t just fall in love when he regenerates into Ten; it’s there all along (even if Rose doesn’t realise it) and i just

Crossed Path's // Rose + Jethro
London, March 12th, year 2714.
Rose threw the newspaper back down onto the stand, continuing on her way down the bustling street, her surroundings almost unfamiliar. It had been another failed attempt at getting home, and she was tired, not to mention hungry as the scent of fish and chips wafted through the air towards her. She was also broke.
Adjusting her wrist strap she ducked down the nearest side alley, venturing away from the busy high street. If she could just find somewhere quiet, she could have another attempt at dispersing into the vortex without being noticed.
Her footing slowed as a voice alerted her attention, drawing her gaze toward a young man on a mobile phone. The area had been otherwise empty, save for a few dustbins and empty beer cans littered upon the ground. Rose pressed her back to the wall, trying to appear casual as she waited for the guy to finish his conversation and disappear so that she could have the empty alleyway to herself, except he didn't seem to be going anywhere anytime soon.
She watched him curiously, fully taking in his appearance since he happened to be facing the other way. He was clothed in black from head to toe, and Rose let out a quiet sigh, thinking he must be one of those emo types. Her gaze fell to the floor as she waited, unable to help but eavesdrop on his conversation, which soon revealed that he was talking to his mum. This forced a smile to creep across her features, not due to amusement, it was just sweet to witness.
After waiting several long minutes, she was about to up and leave, to find another empty alley safe from prying eyes, but something the young man said in that moment stopped her dead, her heart almost dropping to the pit of her stomach like a lead weight as she stared up at him with widening eyes.
"The Doctor would have known what to do..."
Of course he could have been talking about a physician, but Rose in her current state would grasp any straws thrown her way. Holding her breath she slowly began moving towards the young man without even realising what she was doing, desperate to hear more of the conversation. The Doctor would have known what to do...indeed the Doctor always knew what to do...

“Yeah a beach,” he laughed, she really wasn’t from around here, “not an uncommon happenin’ what with us being right next to the sea. Ah wouldn’t worry about it I was always shite at geography.” He reassured, not wanting Rose to take his laughing as an insult. Grinning back at her affirmation Cathal starting to walk them in the direction of the salty wind blowing in off the shore.
He giggled a little unsure as she spoke, trying to riddle out what on earth she was on about, then passing it off as some kind of Cockney slang. He nodded along as her expression underwent some kind of merry-go-round of emotions before changing the subject. “Aye, so Rose tell me about yourself, what do you get up to?”
She glanced away from him, blushing at her own foolish mistake as Cathal immediately picked up on it, though the grin never left her features, not until he began to question her.
Pushing a stray strand of hair behind her ear, she glanced up absently at the clear skies, the wind blowing the familiar scent of sea air into her face as they walked alongside each other.
Everything seemed so small and Rose only wished she could explain just how small it actually was. She wondered just how Cathal would react if he really knew, and a sense of dread stirred in her stomach. The Doctor was so much better at this kind of thing. "I just sort of travel..." she replied, glancing up at the intriguing young man who had been so quick to offer his friendship in this new and unfamiliar place. "That friend I told you about... I'm lookin' for him."
I want her to say, ‘We are not amused!’ Bet you five quid I can make her say it.

His face fell into a sympathetic gaze as he watched her eyes mist over, a tremble in her voice that had him half-doubting her once she’d recovered enough to correct his assumptions. He nodded politely anyway, figuring whatever was going on with her and this friend she didn’t want to be talking about it.
“Me favourite place? Well certainly not the same place I’d be hanging around most but that’s t’be expected with no cash.” He babbled. “I can take you down t’the beach if you like, there’re a couple shelters on Bull Wall if you don’t want to get sand in your toes.” He offered.
"A beach?" she repeated, both brows raised in surprised as she stared up at Cathal. It was the last thing she had expected to hear. Whenever she thought of Ireland she imagined rolling hills and Lush green fields, not the sea, despite knowing there had to be one somewhere. It was a foolish thought and one she wasn't going to mention, although her genuine surprise probably gave her away.
"That'd be nice!" she added quickly, beaming up at him with her trademark cheshire cat-like grin. "I don't mind a bit of sand in my toes, thass nothin' you should try walking through Tritarian gravel."
Her laughter vanished within the few seconds it had appeared as she realised her mistake, yet she forced her grin to stay put, despite the comical frown now creasing her forehead. "It's a joke..." she lied, shaking her head as though gesturing for him to forget about it.
