I’ll make this short. Today a racist idiot burned our car completely. It can only be sold for scrap because the motor, brain and sensors are fried.

We’re a family of black latine immigrants. we did not get any stimulus checks. I was forced to drop out cause I can’t pay for college so I’m using my shop to sustain my family, and without a car this is just so, so much more difficult.

How To Reference Romantic Attraction Between Your Characters:

Person A’s inability to make eye-contact for long periods of time while Person B is constantly looking into A’s eyes. (extra points if Person A looks away and blushes)

Interest Copying (When interested in another person, humans tend to copy that person’s movements, stature, etc)

Cute nervous ticks while around one another (Dont just use blushing and stuttering! Other ticks exist! Shuffling, fiddling their thumbs, scratching the back of their neck, bouncing their leg, nervous laughter, picking at their palm, biting the inside of their cheek, etc!)

Remembering little details about one another (How person A never eats the beans on their plate, or person B’s favorite color, the color of their eyes, where their birthmark is, are they a morning or night person? Bonus points if they figure this information out by observation, not by being told!)

Constantly smiling or laughing around their love interest

Confessing their love (but only in Spanish)

today was pretty good for a monday! it was my first day back from being sick so i was stressed about my makeup work but i’ll be all caught up by wednesday. trying to worry less about school because my health is way more important! <3 :,)

today was my first day back at school! it was luckily only a half day. semester two starts tomorrow for me. im anxious yet excited because my new class is drivers ed. i hope i get the classroom portion first and not the driving part ahh! also im shocked because im already recieving college admission emails and im only a sophomore like what ?? time flies by so quickly.. also doing my ap world history readings early really paid off! i finished two chapters including their notes today even though they’re due wednesday. i’m really proud of myself for pulling through :,)

i got my driving permit today and it took up most of the day. but i woke up at seven am after a week of going to bed at three am every night. i’m really tired now but hopefully i can start waking up earlier again just in time for school returning next week! :-)

accomplishments of the day: • studied my driver’s ed handbook for a couple hours. i was so anxious and the test was really easy. haven’t felt that concentrated in a long LONG time

✧･ﾟ: *✧･ﾟ:* 12.30.19 *:･ﾟ✧*:･ﾟ✧ accidentally woke up at two pm today :| so instead of starting the hundred days of productivity challenge i decided to plan out my junior year classes. i can’t believe course selections are in a few weeks already! the process took much longer than i had expected. i spent a couple hours researching what my best chances are of getting into a competitive university with the ap classes that my school offers. next year i will be taking ap us history and ap language and composition. my senior year i’ll be taking ap literature and comp, ap psychology, ap government and ap bio! yes im crazy. :o

hey everyone! my name is alyssa and after many attempts of trying to post consistently as a studyblr i decided that i would try to return back to this wonderful community. here are some facts about me :,)

im fifteen years old and i attend a public high school in the usa. im from chicago, illinois. im currently half way done with my sophomore year of high school! i’m obsessed with learning new things and sometimes i study for fun.

interests: • my favorite subjects are history, literature, science, and spanish. my least favorite (still love it tho!) is math because i struggle with it a lot :,( • photography, activism, and sustainability are huge passions of mine • i have an instagram for my photography and i love blogging!

goals: • live on campus while attending my dream university (i hope this happens!) • become fluent in spanish and learn other languages • learn more about anatomy since i want to become a nurse practitioner • procrastinate less! • read more often
