New Art Blog
I previously stated on my main blog @bagels-are-my-friends that I was leaving Tumblr due to the unpleasantry I found here.
However, because I would like to continue my art, I’ve created a new art blog to start fresh, and I’ve made it my main blog so I can focus only on art and not be distracted by the political/religious side of Tumblr.

I’m leaving Tumblr.
I’m being completely honest. I haven’t been able to handle the Tumblr crowd lately, and I just have been losing all interest in this website.
I came on Tumblr for art and just…interesting stuff, and I admit I got swallowed into the kind of stuff I was trying to avoid.
I’ve been seeing too much hypocrisy, falsehoods, and all-around un-pleasantry and I’m sick of it. I feel Tumblr has affected the way I think about things, and I want it to stop. I don’t want to feel like I have to fit in with anyone anymore, and I’ve decided I’m going to have to walk away because of that.
I have met some awesome, wonderful people and made amazing friendships, but it’s time for me to go. I won’t be deleting my blog, because I still have my art blog, which will be going inactive as well, but I’d like to keep what I have there.

I just can’t keep up with the Tumblr crowd anymore. I came on for art and to enjoy myself, and the opposite happened. There’s been too much on my dashboard and I don’t feel like seeing it anymore.
I will be going permanently inactive after October 10, 2018. If you would like to keep in touch with me, please make sure you contact me before then, because I won’t be logging in anymore.
I’ll finish the commissions I have and that will be the last I’ll post on my account.
As I said, I won’t be deleting my account, just going inactive. Any posts that you see showing up on my blog will be from my queue, which I have built up over the past couple of weeks.

I’m leaving for Arizona on September 26 (Wednesday). If I still have commissions I’m working on when I leave, they’ll be postponed for the ten days I’m there, seeing as how it’s vacation time. I’ll more than likely be working on them in Arizona, but I won’t upload until I get back, which is October 5. Just as a heads up.

I’ve been reworking some elements of Morganswood to be more comprehensible...so I did a doodle for it!
....my art skills have been suffering due to a severe art block.
However: things that have changed include being set from 1924 to 1932; Cecil’s surname has been changed from Blevins to Hughes (due to some historical research I did on the surname) and Jean switched from 20 to 13...and still falling to Cecil’s care owing to a tragic accident...(also Jean is now ‘Jean Hughes’ because I’ve made her Cecil’s niece rather than his cousin, and her father would have been Cecil’s deceased cousin).
There’s actually a lot I’ve reworked but I won’t give an information dump. Here’s a celebratory doodle to mark the fact that I’m through with story troubles and hopefully art block!
Commissions are back open! This time I’ve updated and I’m open to the head-and-shoulders/halfbody commissions that seemed to be so popular.
I’m only taking commissions for one person per picture. I also raised the prices a wee bit because I noticed I was putting more time and effort into the pieces than what they were worth. But they are still affordable!
I am not doing digital art. All commissions are traditional (ink for grayscale, alcohol marker for color).
