This chapter became a lot of lore and story than I initially planned but honestly it kinda saves me from having to find a way to add it to future arcs.
I'm really happy everyone liked the idea of a non hostile monster. A few people have theorized about how and why this is happening and I'm so pleased with your guys's theories. Keep theorizing.
The bobos will slowly start to appear in Hateno, less like tourists but more like children on field trips. (At least for now, spoilers. Red gets a job)
Karin and Zelda haven't really talked since that night. But perhaps that is best, sometimes time needs to pass before things can be discussed without too much emotion ruling the conversation. They'll talk at some point once Karin is more mature and Zelda is less stressed.
Did you know I didn't have a monster planned for this arc initially? A reader who I don't think is active anymore actually suggested the deadhand I believe back when Selfish was being released. I'm not sure if I can find the exact person but thank you for the suggestion!
A handful of people wondered if Aryll hated her brother after all that. I think that Aryll at that time is going through a lot for an 8 year old. She just survived an attempted abduction and witnessed an assault (nearly murder).
But I think that once the adrenaline subsides she understands that there are a lot of lies and bad things going on. But knows her brother is in fact alive, and he didn't know their mom was alive either. But also HE'S A KNIGHT THAT SERVES A PRINCESS?!?
Aryll's story is a bit harsh, honestly deserving of its own story, but right now we are gonna focus on Bonds.
Zelda is entering a point where she will start spiraling. She is internalizing a lot all while it seems everything she knows is being torn apart.
Tbh I was surprised no one caught this was starting when she tried to appease Aryll. She's starting to fully believe she has to carry the sins of the past rules of Hyrule. Is that healthy?
I'm excited to start working on the next arc. But I'm going to take a break and play Palworld and catch up on some reading.
