ghosts like joseph only occur with humans, and yeah only in circumstances that are conducive to Hauntings
and then there's species of "ghosts" like the -onnas that can be born like normal

it'll primarily be text based. i still need to figure out what mechanics I want to use that aren't tied to the dialogue
