Meta Knight was introduced in Kirby's Adventure, yet in the very next mainline game Kirby's Dreamland 2 he's entirely absent. Why's that ? well I have a little idea
#AAAAAAH I'M ALREADY BEING NITPICKY ABOUT HOW THIS FLOWS & POSSIBLE DRAWING MISTAKES. JUST TAKE IT#With my HC that the squeaks helped DDD out with the sparkling stars & food; they were also secretly stealing some of his riches too. He-#-found out & immediately called off their partnership; but since they had gotten close enough to know the castle's layouts he thought hirin#-a really strong knight or smth would both help keep them out & maybe drive Kirby out of Dreamland too. However MK didn't think too highly-#-of him or Dreamland & thought he'd make a better ruler. & maybe using his later knowledge of DDD's thievery as a coverup excuse#Meta Knight's Revenge you may say. & with Super Star being the next mainline game after DL2 that's when he takes action; but as we all-#-know it fails & thus he is banished & absent for the rest of the Dark Matter Trilogy. I imagine that's also when he decides 2 do some sort#-of soul-seeking journey & initially it was to be stronger {Meta Knightmare mode in SSU} but after Galacta Knight summoned those clones of-#-his crewmates & his own holy blade Galaxia's disapproval of his actions he realizes what he needs is to be a true hero; so when the next-#-chance crops up {Amazing Mirror} he immediately takes it. too bad DMK beat him lol. I could go on but I already have a PMV in my head for-#-my MK interpretation where my rambling would make a bit more sense & I could go into further detail. There's a tag limit here </333 anyway#The place they're facing off at is Iceberg stage 4; both bc I thought a mid-level would be most fitting. but maybe a parallel to KATFL too-#-maybe. y'know the capsule descriptions. yeahg.
