So, it was as she had expected. Though ‘right hand,’ that was QUITE the title . . Man, just her luck that the first person she’d run into here would be a bigwig. Eyes lolling off to the side for a moment, she inhales before allowing her form to slump back against the alleys wall, “Parthevia. Just here to visit. Ain’t from the best of places, so when I finally saved up enough cash to make the trip, I thought . . Where better to look around than this place? Its regarded pretty highly as a city of wealth. Wanted to see what your definition of slums was like in comparison to my own. Unfortunately, you guys don’t really seem to HAVE slums . .” A lie? Partly. She’d traveled here from Parthevia, she came from the slums, and she was DEFINITELY interested in looking around . . However, her purpose was not solely that. Not that HE needed to know the truth.
Sharp emerald hues return to focus upon the man, “Seriously though . . That’s an impressive title. The way you’re speaking leads me to believe that you weren’t exactly of noble birth . . In which case, you might be similar to me . . And if thats true then I’m envious and pretty amazed that you managed to worm your way up as far as you have, good job.” Her praise was sincere, she found people who could raise themselves up like that to be admirable and kind of boggling considering she couldn’t even fathom attempting to do something like that for herself.
Lifting herself from her relaxed position, straightening her posture, she slides off of the barrel top. Hands shoving themselves into her pockets, “Anyways . . Since you guys don’t have those slums I mentioned earlier, I doubt I’ll be able to find lodgings within my price range for the night . . So, sorry, but I’ll probably be setting up camp here in this alley way. If I’m getting in the way of something though, let me know, I’ll find somewhere else to curl up.”
✞ || Surely, it was a title to wear with pride. At least to him, and the other generals... Though, many of them seemed to take it as a pass to mess around. Fingers curling and uncurling slowly, he finally gets his knuckles to lightly crack with the movements he was making, “I see. I used to live there. That was my starting point, if that’s what one would wish to call it anyway, but honestly... I’m rather pleased to hear that Sindria has a good standing. Many come from around the world to be here. Whether it’s to simply visit and partake in some festivities or to officially live here. Naturally, the king likes to make everyone feel equal...” Very true. Really. He’d known his king for being kind, he was kind to him, and thus why he had had a chance to be here... Despite, his previous intentions to kill him. Everything had been overlooked and forgiven.
✞ || Folding his hands across his chest slowly, “I suppose so... I wasn’t exactly the most likeable. Nor had I really been given too much of a choice in the things that I had to do beforehand... So I’m grateful, and forever in debt to him... Though I do appreciate both the praise and the recognition that you’re providing me with at the movement, so thank you.” His eyes softened slightly, he hadn’t really expected to receive any kind of positivity from anyone this late at night but it was a very nice thing to hear every now and then.
✞ || Placing his hands into the sleeves of his robe, seemingly fiddling about, he stops moving for a moment. Icy blue irises looking up at the female, “Well... I don’t mind if you wish to make camp right here in this alleyway, but some of the residents might not feel very comfortable with it... So, madam, perhaps I could find you an inn of sorts to stay in? I could always just pay for your stay here, after all, it won’t really be any trouble at all.”
