Marine debris is cool art...but not cool food! Did you know balloons are also consider marine debris? Let Marine life eat their food not our trash!

Every single creature is in danger due to balloon releases. Including us humans! When balloons are released they end up in our oceans. If fish consume those balloons those balloon can get back into our seafood.

By getting the message out about balloon releases, we can start preventing them! Now we can work on getting that 28% even lower!

Wildlife on our planet need our help! By releasing balloons we are risking lives of many animals like these rescued by Mote Marine Laboratory.

Hello, my name is Emma.  I am 14 years old and I have just finished my Freshman year of High School in Bradenton, FL.  I have been a Girl Scout for 10 years and I am currently working on my Gold Award.  The Girl Scout Gold Award is the highest award in Girl Scouts.  It is the most prestigious award in the world for girls–and the most difficult to earn.  As a Gold Award Girl Scout, you are challenged to change the world–or at least your corner of it.
