The other woman relaxing brought a larger smile to her lips, but hearing the other woman speaking French is what brought the true smile to her, the one that made her eyes crinkle and a twinkle to appear in her eyes. “J'aime toujours parler français….” she trailed off for a moment and then added in english now. “I would love that actually. It’s a language I’ve always wanted to learn but I only know a couple words.” she said her eyes still lit up just at the thought of speaking more french. She paused now. “How many languages do you speak? You seem to have a mind for them.”
Her cheeks warmed from the normal pale to a faint red at the girl’s compliment. “That’s so sweet of you.” she said brushing a strand of chocolate colored hair behind her ear. It was truly a relief to know that the show didn’t fuck with her image to much. To know that people did like her and that she was shown as being sweet. It was what she always aimed for. “Hey, you’d be surprised what tv magic can happen on the cutting room floor. You can make a comedy movie look like a horror with the right cuts and music. It wouldn’t be to hard to cut together all of the footage they have of us to make us look one way or another.”
“Then I am your teacher. Is official!” With fervour, she claps her hands together, bright eyed and seemingly excited at the premise of teaching her new housemate her native language. Whilst this girlish enthusiasm is the prominent manner she conveys, deep within she spirals brief imagery of one-on-one meetings with Eveleen, and though they remain innocent in plot at this moment in time, she knows it’s a story line that will develop once she’s alone. For now, she blinks away the attraction that would surely be obvious if it weren’t for her literal poker face.
“I think I speaking, er,” Bambi sucks her lip, though the answer balance on the tip of her tongue she restrains it for a moment, so to build suspense and, she hopes, further interest. “just Italian, English and French. Not fluent, though. I can only think in Italian.” It’s not quite true, it’s just a stubborn way of fooling herself that her bonds are still with her homeland.
“Eveleen, I don’t doubt this!” She says with a giggle inflecting the tail end of her words, and she’s going to continue to insist her point. “But not with you. Is just not possible.”
