Chapter 2: Is this one of those fake taxi videos?
Summary: When her car tells her it needs more petrol she really should have listened. Now she is stuck with a car that she can’t drive and a phone that died five minutes ago. A familiar stranger may be the saving grace she needs.
Sorry this chapter is a bit shorter but it is written in 3rd person. Also as promised @chaaxx
Today was one of her days off and she was not going to waste it. She already knew exactly what she was doing. Nothing mixed with a little bit of relaxing and a pitch of sleeping. At least that was her plan until her cousin just had to call and ask her to drop her off at her friend's house. Could she have asked someone else? Yes. But did she? No. She could have said no but curse her for having a heart.
Now she regrets saying yes even more because she was now stranded with a car that won’t start and a phone she didn’t think to charge before leaving. So she was stuck with no way to call for help and too far away from her house to actually walk home, she was officially stuck.
Morgan had a few regrets in his life and one of them was not getting the name or number of the girl who he let spend his money. Morgan was used to being recognised in public by his fans and being asked if he was Angry Ginge. To him Morgan and Angry Ginge were the same person but it felt nice to just be Morgan with her. He would be lying if he said he hasn’t thought about her since that night.
As he drove home from visiting his nan, he thought his eyes were playing tricks on him for a moment. It wasn’t until he got closer did he realise it really was her. There she was just sitting on the curb with her phone in her hands. He wasn’t sure if he should stop or continue driving but when he saw the look on her face he knew he had to stop.
As the car slowed down before braking in front of her, she lifted her head and was surprised to see him again.
“Sorry I'm too busy for pictures.” He let out a small laugh at her words.
“Are you ok?” He asked, rolling down the window all the way.
She glanced over at her car before shaking her head “No, not really.”
“I’m an unprepared idiot.” She sighed.
“You forgot pretty, you are a pretty unprepared idiot.”
She laughed at his words. Glad to know he was still a charmer she thought to herself as he turned his car off and stepped out of it.
“I could give you a lift somewhere if your car won’t start.” he offered.
“I don’t want to bother you.”
“You’re not a bother and I know my mum and nan would kill me if I left a pretty girl stranded on her own.”
Rising to her feet, she brushed off any mud or grass from her jeans after pocketing her phone. “Well we can’t have them committing murder now could we.”
“We can not.” He smiled as he opened the passenger door for her.
“Glad to see your manners have improved since last time.” She couldn’t help but tease as she got in the car.
“Yeah my friend brought me a book called manners for dummies.” He joked as he got back in the car.
“Glad to see it’s working.” She laughed as he began driving
As an Ed Sheeran song played on the radio they sat in comfortable silence for a few moments till something caught her eye. Turning her head to look on the back seats she saw a camera and two GoPro mounts.
“I’m sorry, is this one of those fake taxi videos?”
As he came to a stop at a red light he turned to her in shock at her question.
“What?” He was so confused till he saw what she was looking at.
“Oh those are my friends,” He explained before laughing “Do I look like someone who films porn in their car?”
She looked him up and down for a second “You look like a virgin.” He burst out laughing at her words and she couldn’t help but join in.
