sitting on a bench outside the bar, gazing at the starry sky, sunghoon comes out from the bar. "shit yn, im sorry about that. i didn't mean for it to escalate like this." sunghoon mutters under his breath.
"no, no, it's not your fault. don't be sorry." you reassure, looking up at him with a slight smile that doesn't reach your eyes.
"really?" he pauses. "because you're looking at me with teary eyes, and i'm not sure what to do."
wiping your eyes, you utter, "shit, i don't know why i'm so sensitive about this."
sunghoon registers your hands and legs quivering. he takes a seat next to you on the bench, and takes your hands into his. "pretty cold out tonight, hm?"
"you know, this feels oddly intimate. a little too intimate considering how you're my brothers best friend." you laugh quietly through your tears, glancing down at your intertwined hands. "god, jake would lose his mind if he saw this right now."
"who cares what jake thinks?" sunghoon murmurs, eyebrows furrowing and head shaking. his thumb brushes over your knuckles. "want me to take you home, pretty?"
nodding your head in response, sunghoon drapes his jacket over your shoulders, and guides you to his car.
"thank you, hoon," you whisper softly, only sunghoon and the night sky being able to hear your words.
"you know, i never really liked it when people called me that. but i like hearing it come from you." he admits in a whisper, lips near your ear, mocking you in a sense.
your face lits up, lips quirking up, and you look down almost in a shy manner.
"and it's no problem. anything to make you smile like that again. you look even prettier," he says, a charming smirk appearing on his face.
