One of my several SVSSS wips that’ll have Shen Bros, Liujiu and Bingyuan by the time I’m done with it!
Surely nothing bad will come from this very vivid dream Shen Qingqiu is having. 😏
JC Leyendecker’s ‘Knight in Shining Armour’ as LiuShen
+ bonus bingpup

So very excited to see what I come up with for this!!!
Was watching Solo Leveling and was inspired with an SV AU plot bunny, where Shen Yuan transmigrates into one of the big bosses Luo Binghe encounters in the Abyss.
So like he's this humanoid armored warrior guy (weirdly snatched waist and cool features for an animated suit of armor etc etc), and he spawns in this abandoned ruin/castle where, if he follows the script, he's bound to just wait around this empty throne with a whole bunch of other haunted armors and cloaks and shit until Luo Binghe shows up to rip them apart with his bare hands and claim the power upgrade under the throne. Including metaphorically poignant scene of Binghe "resting" on the throne all blood soaked and so forth, Shen Yuan's wrecked body slumped artfully nearby.
Obviously, this is not ideal. Shen Yuan doesn't particularly want to be peeled like a tin can. But good news, the whole reason that the system has stuck him here is because it ran some numbers, and it turns out that as he currently is, Binghe has like a zero percent chance of actually surviving to reach Xin Mo. Logistical errors with making Airplane's slapdash world-building actually work have run cropped up, and they're so severe that unless he has someone helping him, odds are like 98% that Binghe's gonna die before he ever reaches the sword.
So Shen Yuan's role has been tweaked somewhat, and instead of just being a throwaway boss, he's got to help Luo Binghe unlock the new Heavenly Demon "summoning" ability and also become the like, primary target-slash-commander for the subsequent summoned minions. If he does it right, he will survive the encounter with Luo Binghe -- technically, the armor he's animating will still get ripped to shreds, but, when Luo Binghe uses his powers to experiment and re-summons him, Shen Yuan will come back. And the difference between animating a lifeless suit of armor and animating a badly dented suit of armor is... pretty negligible. There might also be a skeleton or mummy inside the suit of armor, but Shen Yuan's been too squeamish to take off his helmet and check.
Anyway, Luo Binghe arrives, the fight meets the system's requirements, and Shen Yuan gets rebooted into what is essentially Luo Binghe's first ever magically summoned minion. Like an edgy pokemon spliced with Wen Ning from MDZS. With this respawn he gains in-depth access to all of the system's menus and files on Luo Binghe and his stats and abilities, as well as the potential to command other minions that Binghe creates as long as A) Binghe promotes him to commander, B) he doesn't use them against Binghe himself, and C) those minions are a weaker level than Shen Yuan.
Shen Yuan figures that at some point, Binghe will inevitably create a stronger commander, as that's how these things tend to go, but as he's not sure what would happen to him in that case, he plans to postpone it for as long as possible by making himself as useful as he can. Only, Luo Binghe is now firmly in his era of experiencing deep suspicion towards everyone and everything, so he doesn't promote Shen Yuan right away. This leaves Shen Yuan with only partial access to his abilities, and Binghe himself struggling to master his new abilities and also command his new minions, whenever he summons them, himself. A division of his attention that frequently causes a lot of his fights to go south, and Shen Yuan is wincing as Binghe keeps suffering very violent injuries and barely pulling out by the skin of his teeth, trapped by the fact that his actions are severely limited unless Binghe explicitly orders him to do something.
Much as Shen Yuan would love to try and persuade Luo Binghe that the only thing he'd do with more autonomy would be to use it to get them both out of the Abyss faster, he can't talk. So it's a very frustrating situation for a while. He thinks he could probably write something, like there's no paper and ink but he could perhaps claw a passable symbol onto a nearby wall or something, but everything he wants to convey seems to complicated for that style of communication anyway. So he's stuck.
At least until Binghe finally gets into a fight that nearly kills him -- one of those encounters that the system had very grim projections about -- and Shen Yuan bends the rules on his constrained conduct to swoop in and rescue Binghe just in the nick of time. Despite this being necessary to prevent Binghe's death, the system blares at him for violating his story-based limitations, and Shen Yuan endures a "punishment protocol" which almost annihilates him, until Meng Mo interferes to keep his spirit from dissipating at the last minute (Meng Mo has figured out that he has his own consciousness, thinks he's like the ghost of some ancient demon warrior or other, and is aware that they're probably toast without his continued assistance).
Luo Binghe is then able to re-summon/respawn a form for him, and Shen Yuan wipes the metaphorical sweat off of his brow and decides to repress that whole incident as much as possible going forward.
Except, afterwards, he gets several updates from the system. Binghe promoted him! And Shen Yuan finds that he can fight under his own autonomy now, no longer as tightly restricted as before. Luo Binghe also begins summoning him a lot more, and keeping him around for longer. He starts talking to Shen Yuan as well, even though the conversation is distinctly one-sided. It's still a hell of a slog through the Abyss, but it's a major improvement on before. Shen Yuan tentatively takes it that he's earned a bit of trust, and vows not to violate it.
Battles begin to go much more smoothly with Shen Yuan commanding Luo Binghe's minions, freeing Binghe up to fight, and also less conspicuously managing and tweaking things in Binghe's favor via the system's windows. He can earn points to spend to help Binghe or himself unlock new abilities, upgrade the other summoned creatures, even buy small quests for Binghe and himself to go on in order to locate special items as rewards. One of the most expensive features SY is able to purchase is a map, which he can then use to begin directing Luo Binghe towards Xin Mo. The first time Binghe asks if he has any thoughts on where they should go next, Shen Yuan only has to point his sword determinedly in the right direction. After that, Binghe checks in with him pretty regularly, though even Binghe himself seems a bit bemused and wonders at times where Shen Yuan is really leading him.
Eventually they actually do reach Xin Mo, surviving the trials along the way, and Luo Binghe uses it to open a portal to the demon realms. The sword does horrific things to Binghe's status windows according to the system, however, and even the subsequent hookups Binghe has with some random demon ladies they happen upon afterwards (stupid stallion novel logic) doesn't do as much to mitigate the effects as Shen Yuan expected. He's especially concerned with the way the sword is eating at the "sanity" and "wisdom" points. He spends a lot to bulk those stats up to try and compensate.
Thankfully, though, Luo Binghe doesn't use Xin Mo as much as he seemed to in PIDW. Instead he tends to keep the sword sheathed unless they're facing down a truly intimidating foe, instead relying more on his summoning ability and Shen Yuan to clear out annoying opponents (and small armies). Shen Yuan even ends up being the one to duel Mobei Jun, while Luo Binghe just sort of stands back and wordlessly makes a point about how he's so strong, he doesn't even need to dirty his hands. Shen Yuan thinks Binghe is definitely making the right choice, although he misses the chance to watch him fight sometimes. He also wonders if Binghe might be waiting to see if Shen Yuan will falter in his loyalty, because damn if he doesn't watch all of Shen Yuan's fights really closely.
Once they've beaten Mobei Jun, though, they finally gain steady access to a home base and things like stationary supplies. So the next time Luo Binghe asks Shen Yuan a rhetorical question, Shen Yuan swipes a brush and paper off of the desk of that weaselly traitor Shang Qinghua and writes a response.
Liujiu
Alpha lqg where everyone thinks he’s an omega
Omega sj where everyone thinks he’s an alpha
Liujiu have been together for YEARS maybe since disciple days. Everyone thinks they still hate each others guts bc of The Way They Are
So been having more thoughts about Wife SY (Links here, here and here) only instead of Bingge groveling what if? Bingmei?
SY transmigrates into wife when either a baby or very young and solves entire life and causes plot deviations from get go, since wife didn't actually have a plot and was a throw away line.
SY wins over LGJ and MBJ. These 2 have had SY from a day and will destroy everyone in this room if they are hurt in anyway. They adore SY. Both are super overprotective as SY is sickly. As half human while young the ice powers cause them to very very ill (it gets better as SY gets stronger but initially is very vulnerable)
While SY is still young some Mobei siblings think SY is getting to much favor and plan to get rid of loose end. SQH hears this and tells MBJ and SY is sent away somewhere safe while LGJ and MBJ 'clean house'. (Plus they know SY likes SQH they'll follow him around and rant at him over some books the two have read)
Safe being with SQH (As MBJ future husband, not that SQH realizes this) so SY is now on cang qiong peak.
SQH is freaking out like 'cucumber bro please just stay in house and lay low please!'
SY does not lay low, SY has been stuck in Northern palace all his/her life, they've read the entire libraries twice over. They are on cang qiong which means all the peaks different libraries, cultivator texts new books!
They'll law low and pretend to be a disciple no one will notice.
Everyone notices.
SY does not have protagonist halo protecting them and is clocked almost instantly as a half demon.... but peak lords aren't sure what to do with this very clearly sick very obviously half demon who is just reading.
LQG doesn't even try and fight he feels awkward like kicking a tiny sick puppy he can't do it. This doesn't feel fair at all, also the little demon sees him and smiles and compliments him and 'MU-SHIDI SOMETHINGS WRONG ME'
The peak lords are all confused and then realize little demon is coming from An Ding and collectively turn to SQH who is cursing out cucumber bro but bullshits that 'Oh that's just a friends cousin I said i'd look after them'. All the peak lords assume it's on the human side of SY lineage, SQH does not correct them.
SY of course spends a lot of time on Qing Jing peak(SJ got so many rare books from YQY) and of course sees protagonist and 'oh poor little sheep I can't go help him' and besides SY is disguised and wife is so forgotten it shouldn't cause any plot problems right???
Of course SY is instantly doting on Binghe helping him cultivate and learn art and music (of course they were taught it) and teaching all about beasts (a lot he will face in abyss). Binghe is beyond smitten and also so protective over SY, insisting on cooking for and helping them around because it's clear they aren't well, and also because SY praises their cooking so much and pats his head.
Things carry on until invasion, which SY is hiding in back for until Binghe nearly gets hurt and SY can't help it they jump in the way. Only for SHL to recognizes SY and freak the fuck out kicking elder skyhammer off the mountain herself. 'OH GOD YOU NEARLY KILLED THE PRINCESS OF THE NORTH ARE YOU MAD!'
Everyone bluescreening as SHL scoops up SY and nopes out calling SY PRINCESS???
This leads to SQH fleeing to North also where him and SY are just like '....so plot may be a bit messed up' cause SQH can't do invasion now... they're not sure whats happening.
Binghe is getting visit from Meng Mo and interrupts his speech
LBH: So would being demon emperor mean I could marry princess of the North?
MM: Yes
LBH: I have no more questions reach me everything
Years later when alliance marriage happens SY is confused 'he should have married the major wives first?...why are people calling me empress? what is going on?'
@blendy-pen I finally caved and drew qijiu 😩🙏
Ended up combining my SY advisor (link) and SY PIDW wife (link) AU's
Where SY is one og Bingge's wives and basically running everything trying to take burden off Bingge. Not that's he's ever noticed. He is full on running the realms while LBH is away. People have to stop themselves slipping up and calling SY emperor/empress.
Bingge doesn't notice and SY is just overlooked constantly he tries not to let it bother him, it's fine he's able to fix for things for Bingge he's busy... it's been years and he hasn't even tried to see him once or notice but it's fine. Really it's fine he's fine.
So what if he's the one running the country, and the one who sits by Bingge's bedside when he does get injured (Only he had to leave for 1 moment to sort out a court issue and in that time Bingge woke up alone and called for one of his other wives to fix the issue because of course he was affected by a papapa plot plant) and so what if when Bingge does walk past him he doesn't even look at him. It's fine, SY is fine...
Only then the Bingmei Vs Bingge extra happens. Bingge is laser focused on getting a kind shizun as his empress...
So to clear harem he starts divorcing wives, including SY.
SY just shattered and it's. OK IT'S NOT FINE HE'S UPSET AND PISSED AND FUCK THIS SHIT.
SY leaves and goes back to wherever the wives family is.
... it doesn't take a week for everything to go to shit.
Advisors and nobles and every member of palace staff is freaking out everything's broken.
Bingge is pulled out of his Shziun focus tasks only to find everything almost on fire and what is happening? why isn't this stuff done? wait he's meant to do this? He's never done this? He doesn't know how to do this?
Cue him having to run realms and figure out how this has just broken whose been doing this before? How much of his job have they been doing? What do you mean it was a wife?
He goes to find wife and finds very upset and unhappy SY who is not coming back and refuses a proposal. Bingge having to woo him and slowly realizing he did have a kind Shziun.
He was married to his kind Shziun.
He divorced his kind Shziun.
There is a lot of grovelling after that.
SVSSS au where they’re all some form of pirates.
Cang Qiong is a group of twelve privateer ships all following the lead of Yue Qingyuan who captains the Qiong Ding. The other Peak Lords have their own ships and the twelve of them work together outside of the rule of various governments to keep the sea safe from the worst pirates.
Shen Jiu captains the Qing Jing with his twin brother, Shen Yuan, as his first mate. They all go about their duties, facing down pirates and mythological monsters and going on merry adventures all while dealing with their own issues as a group. No one - other than Liu Qingge who hears it from Shen Jiu one night when they’re spending the night on the Bai Zhan - knows why the Shen twins are so angry with Yue Qingyuan even if Shen Yuan can be civil with him for the most part. No one other than Shen Yuan and Liu Mingyan, the first mate of the Xian Shu, is aware that their brothers are courting underneath all their arguments. No one knows until far too late that Shang Qinghua is working with a pirate crew to keep them off the radar until it’s too late.
When a conference of privateers - the Immortal Alliance conference - is attacked by pirates, Shen Yuan believes his favorite apprentice is lost to the sea. It isn’t until he’s grabbed at a small island port during a mission that he realizes Luo Binghe isn’t dead.
Faced with a sudden trial launched by the captain of the Huan Hua against both himself and his brother, Shen Yuan has to deal with his emotions over Luo Binghe’s return as the captain of the Demon Lord, one of the newest head pirates ruling the seas, his fears over the reveal of his and his brother’s past and his determination to make sure his brother never sees the inside of a cage ever again.
Too bad his brother is just as willing to make sure he stays free as well.
Willing enough to make a deal with the devil he has never liked. After all, at least the Beast would rip out his own heart before he allowed A-Yuan to face a rope or a hole where he would never see the sun again.
Imagine Shen Yuan transmigrating as the mountain god of the Cang Qiong Mountain region.
He is technically an outsider who isn’t part of the sect… but he is also a manifestation of the literal mountain they live and cultivate on, so the sect members need to be respectful.
I’m picturing him waking up deep in the heart of the Ling Xi caves as a seemingly Binghe aged beautified Xianxia version of his modern world self. (He’s young looking as he’s “waking up” before Cang Qiong Mountain would have manifested a spirit on its own without System interference).
He then proceeds to end up the unofficial spoiled little brother of all the nicer Peak Lords, as well as personally defending and spoiling the heck out Luo Binghe himself (to Shen Qingqiu’s ire).
The best part is the sheer comic potential of Binghe returning from the endless abyss, not to seek vengeance on the sect— he would never tarnish his beloved by engaging in bloodshed upon his peaks— but to marry the mountain out from under them!
The world’s most awkward neighbor situation, with the top sect living next to the demon emperor, because he married the literal mountain they live on and are named after… (Also said mountain is incredibly qi rich, befriended half their peak lords and disciples, and houses all their stuff, so they can’t exactly leave).
My current ideas for what Cang Qiong Mountain!Shen Yuan gets up to below:
Under the stars
This was supposed to be something quick, instead I started to add more and more things
The Twin peak lords of Qing jing peak
Where’s the first place Liu Qingge goes when he returns from a mission?
Since it’s my birthday, I want to think about something soft… So!!!
SVSSS au where everyone has wings. Shen Jiu is really touchy about his after everything he’s been through (i.e. Qiu Jianluo ripping out feathers, Qiu Haitang carelessly preening them without his permission, Wu Yanzi grabbing them and threatening to break them if he ever disobeyed, etc…) He doesn’t let anyone touch them and he never unfurls them from where he keeps them tightly pressed against his back. He doesn’t want to admit that he doesn’t know how to fly since that’s something he should have learned during his time in Qiu Manor but Qiu Jianluo kept his feathers clipped to prevent him from even trying to learn on his own.
Cue some mishap on a mission where Liu Qingge discovers that he can’t fly. As they make their way back to the sect (maybe their cultivation was sealed to prevent them from flying on their swords), he starts noticing little things like how Shen Jiu never relaxes his wings, how he doesn’t really sleep until he passes out, how he flinches away from touch. It’s painting a picture that Liu Qingge doesn’t like and hadn’t noticed before.
Don’t have the idea fully fleshed out but things happen, they learn to start trusting each other and eventually get together. And at some point down the line, Shen Jiu trusts Liu Qingge to help him preen his wings. It’s the first time someone has touched them kindly like that since the day before he was sold to the Qiu’s when his Qi-ge had preened his fluffy baby feathers.
Hi. Hey. Don’t leave these in the tags @themonstercals! That’s so good!!! (And yeah, any of my aus are free for use as long as you tag me later so I can come see it too!)
